Turning to Wall Street, CCL stock maintains a Hold consensus rating. Out of 12 total analyst ratings, two Buys, six Holds, and four Sell ratings were assigned over the past three months. At some time the six holds have to make a decision, abandon ship or buy, let's see if any change after Friday

So back to covid lows. Not surprised but will it bounce back again. Tempted to dip my toes. What’s the debt standing at right now? Any risk of a rights issue?

Chirpy chirpy cheap cheap queen mary cruise to Hamburg and back, 4 nights starting from £287. The another tenner for a transport pass to sail the Hamburg waterways for a day, so a fantastic 5 days of great food, dancing, company and a cheap building of your world club status, plus 50 quid obc for being a shareholder. Less than 300 ackers to live like a king for a few days (well, sort of ish).

Filling spare spaces while the beautiful and now unique transatlantic liner left in service picks up the gerries for their NY trip. Not sure whether the tux is required for this or not - probably no time for a formal night, so probably no lobster (but always plenty of excellent smoked salmon).

I was wondering whether this was worth a punt.

I had a look at the financials page on advfn. The debt is skyrocketing.

I know people sell for various reasons, but any sells now must be at a loss, as they were last week I doubt anyone will be selling short from here

I think the cruise industry will be fine, I can see more people cruising. Flights will be a nightmare in the UK for foreign holidays. Carnival is well oversold

pierrenothing there i would disagree with on paper, i think we will find though the numbers wont be stellar for a while (are they ever) - so far i have found cruising on the medium size boats to be much more enjoyable, so rhapsody of the seas was much better than the allure and oceana/oriana were better than azura/ventura - oddly i liked brittania which is on the big side and have heard from other cruisers that iona is brilliant - im booked for january so will find out
