Then some clown gave me a lesson of market moves for fk sake, that wasn't even my question. However, a profit is a profit, not that most of you lot here will know cause is sounds like most here are angry and in a loss. lol.I'll buy again "IF" 200p holds for a few pence rise......"Based on the post above, do you really believe that you could make a lot money with your attitude and know a lot by asking a stupid question and the way you spoke through foul end?First comes first, learn how to respect and learn and don't behalf like an animal and believe that can you feel strong and.......The scary thing is that someone gave you a thumbs up! 05/6/2017 17:16 | Gary - just to clarify it's not their Shares that Blackrock have increased, but (as the RNS says) it's the 'Financial Instruments holding for BlackRock, Inc. has gone above 5%'. I take it to mean their short position has increased, as well as their voting rights. I'll try to copy / paste the chart later, that shows this instrument goes back to 2009 and has been as high as 5 Euros but is now 3.34 Euros. | pjt105
05/6/2017 17:09 | sux_2bu - Hi clever, you still working to just to survive? Get frustrated? What is scary is that you don't know and you like to talk through your back end. ^^ Rubbish , give it a rest, animal.Haha!K C | kcsham

05/6/2017 15:51 | Technically, the shorters have been proved wrong. They short because they believe the company is going to have bad news / get worse / generally decline. None of those things have happened despite the shorters having hundreds of Harvard graduates, a few Nobel prize winners and all of them having OBEs (OK, I made some of that up). Yes, they have made money (which, in fairness, is the name of the game) but not from their acumen but from frightening the market and potential investors. | jaf1948
05/6/2017 15:23 | FTSE 250 companies have gone to the wall before. The shorters have been proved right so far. | rcturner2
05/6/2017 14:57 | It may be laughable but they have been shorting for well over two years and they have been proved wrong about the company. Yes, they have succeeded in driving the share price down by scaring people but so much for their 'professional outfit with 10 people working full time'. At the moment, they can short to their heart's content. It isn't hurting any long term holder who can quietly tuck away a nice dividend. May I, yet again, remind readers that CLLN is a FTSE250 company, not some small AIM outfit run by a man and a dog. If there were bad news known to CLLN, they are obliged by law to tell the market. The fact that they haven't said anything means a lot more than what shorters may or may not be doing. | jaf1948
05/6/2017 14:48 | JAF, when shorters attacked Globo, I spoked to a NED at the company. Of course he assured me that everything was fine. Eventually I got cold feet and sold. Perhaps that lesson has stayed with me. Probably your experience of shorters is different. However the idea that someone like you who spends a few hours a week on advfn knows the same as a professional outfit with 10 people working full time is laughable. | rcturner2
05/6/2017 14:45 | JAF, no one is suggesting shorters have "special knowledge". They are simply better informed than the average advfn punter. | rcturner2
05/6/2017 14:40 | Is Carillion to blame for the delays in the Leeds contract? It sounds much more likely that they are a victim. | redartbmud
05/6/2017 14:19 | I have spoken to the company and they assure me that shorters are given no special knowledge - on the contrary, the company asks the shorters what is worrying them and then try to do something about it. Some people just want to believe the shorters know more to make them feel better about their investment or non-investment. | jaf1948
05/6/2017 14:16 | Unless there is a magic information tree, someone forgot to tell me about. | racg
05/6/2017 14:15 | Mmmm, those different participants still get the same RNSs and accounts from the company. | racg
05/6/2017 13:00 | different market participants know different things since they have different sources of information therefore it is entirely logical that some know more than others | rcturner2
05/6/2017 11:28 | I suspect that talking about shorters gives a false impression. The current trading pattern is almost certainly being driven by an AI system. The short term swings in the share price are enough to make a profit and the cost is minimal. The AI system doesn't know or care about anything other than the numbers. | nomdeplume
05/6/2017 11:27 | yump - if I knew that, I'd be a billionaire | santar
05/6/2017 10:59 | Main current worry is do I get my Euros now or wait until after the election. Tories get in - is there any upside to sterling with an increased majority. Is there a downside with a reduced majority. Labour get in - 10%+ downside risk. ...what to do...? | yump |
