30/5/2017 08:52 | Letko, Brosseau & Associates over 5%. "Because we seek businesses that will appreciate in value over three to five years, the turnover rate on equity portfolios is relatively low at 20% to 25% per year" They therefore likely have a long term outlook - longer than some of the shorting institutions would want to bear with. | edmundshaw

25/5/2017 12:44 | Times Business News "City People Diary" has a different way to emphasise the short positions in CLLN: ___________________ Tin hats, please Carillion has long been under fire from short sellers, with 14 investors holding a combined 22 per cent short position in the support services company — the most on the London stock exchange. One person who knows a thing or two about tin hats is General Sir Nicholas Houghton, former chief of the defence staff, and now a personal mentor to Richard Howson, Carillion’s chief executive. General Houghton has set up a consultancy to advise directors on “corporate leadership, operating model enhancements and geopolitical risk”. Westminster’s sleaze watchdog has approved the appointment on condition he does not advise on Carillion’s work with the Ministry of Defence. | grahamburn

25/5/2017 07:59 | Sorting the wheat from the chaff is always difficult on any bulletin board. People who get emotional about their holdings are usually not to be trusted. | rcturner2

24/5/2017 17:48 | Sad life ? It's the stock market, what the fek are you here for ? I'm here to make money......you appear to be a special case. Lights on - no fker home. Yup, dumped my shares, all of my CLLN shares for very little above break even because i was on the hope of another 10p more but it was stalling. That's why i asked yesterday if anyone knew why the share price fell around 1330hrs- ish. Then some clown gave me a lesson of market moves for fk sake, that wasn't even my question. However, a profit is a profit, not that most of you lot here will know cause is sounds like most here are angry and in a loss. lol. I'll buy again "IF" 200p holds for a few pence rise...... | sux_2bu
24/5/2017 16:44 | What a bell end. You should have sold ages ago, must anger you holding this share. Have fun, i'll be back when 200p is back tested. | sux_2bu
24/5/2017 16:41 | sux_2bu, I am sorry that you have sold your shares and therefore we will probably no longer have the benefit of your perceptive, nay unique, viewpoint on CLLN. Perhaps a career in the Diplomatic Corps beckons you. | jaf1948
24/5/2017 15:48 | Well I am off to do the gardening on this lovely sunny day. Later I shall feed my cat and buy 60,000 shares in PMSL. | edmundshaw |
