29/8/2019 14:53 | and his 'shocking bad news for Burford' headline today because FRC replied to him saying they'd look into his complaint on BUR. How else do you think they'd reply? Standard courtesy response as you'd expect. Second major fake news headline of the day from him and that's just re BUR. So full of himself. Do people actually pay to read this drivel? Meantime we look forward to the result of the 'FRC investigation' sometime in 2025. | ![]() winsome

29/8/2019 14:08 | They have no shortage of private equity wanting to invest in their funds. Worst case they would have to put more of their new cases into the funds rather than in their own balance sheet portfolio. CG want to value this high growth company as a value play. Strange, but that's their choice. | ![]() winsome
29/8/2019 14:07 | On a short term perspective - toss a coin As for long term - all we can look at is NAV - it warrants a premium but then also a Peterson discount for default risk - so if both those net out then the current NAV of £6 is a good floor Remember that for £6 you are getting £ for £ exposure in that £1 share price = £1 of invested capital (Fair Value adjusted) in what is still a very attractive asset class So at £6ish it's got to be compelling - on a long term view I'm happy to wait it out for those levels - and if I don't see them then happy for LTH to have seen value recover | ![]() williamcooper104
29/8/2019 14:00 | below 700p is it time to buy again??????????????? | 1corrado
29/8/2019 14:00 | re-iterating its view that cash flow is probably insufficient to meet funding commitments and grow the investment portfolio. Canaccord also materially downgraded its return on invested capital and pre-tax profit forecasts, and argued that a price-to-tangible NAV multiple of 1.2 represents fair value for the stock. | ![]() hatfullofsky
29/8/2019 13:58 | Haven't read it either - but imagine the argument would be that they will need cash for investment and look at those bond yields they won't be able to raise debt so will have to raise equity and given all that's happening that's likely to be a discounted rights issue | ![]() williamcooper104
29/8/2019 13:54 | We all know CG's last rational re their accounting was flawed. I haven't caught sight of today's report but I'm guessing they are implying that current cash flow will cover next 12 months funding commitments but not leave room for new investments. BUR say they are fully covered for next 12 months commitments, maybe longer. 'IF' no more cash comes in next 12 months then could be some truth to it. But how likely is it that no more cash will come from the huge ramp up in investments they made from 2017 that are starting to mature? So I take CG report with a pinch of salt but BUR do need to issue an RNS on their accounting as investors have been asking for. Until they do they are unlikely to raise any more public funds. | ![]() winsome
29/8/2019 13:46 | Along with MW's credibility goes TW's, whatever he had left. Gotham and MW embarassing the share price brigade. All so desperate so squeeze a little more out of their short positions. And to top it all, read his verdict on Optibiotix. Admits horrible interims but still says a screaming buy! Laughter inducing! | ![]() winsome

29/8/2019 13:00 | It is a bit concerning at the moment I own nearly 20.000 at an average 0f 767 while I made bug money there is no reason to gave it all back.A rns to calm the water is now required as soon as convenient or the battle may be lost................ | 1corrado
29/8/2019 12:51 | No doubt about it the naysayers have the upper hand here and it is not looking good for LTH who almost to a man are hugely in the red. We desperately need some calming news from the company and we need it NOW! | ![]() dsmith57 |
