28/8/2019 13:43 | 2 Weeks since the last RNS, wonder what is happening at H/Q?, surely things must be moving towards a listing off of AIM, seems the market here is just being held by Bots, more of the same until news I guess. | ![]() wardy333
28/8/2019 12:12 | MW hasn't been able to dent the share price with his most recent rantings. There is a good probability that BUR will make further announcements in Sept to continue to address concerns and update us on US listings. Anything meaningful could send the share price upwards. You can bet MW will have closed his shorts. I'd expect a few more twists and turns too though. | ![]() winsome
28/8/2019 10:48 | Well so far the Bots have this well in control , an out of the Blue RNS could change things upwards. | ![]() wardy333

28/8/2019 10:32 | SO MW have added almost nothing in the latest attack on BUR yesterday. Heavy reliance on Napo from 2013 and thats about it. Id have been much more worried if they had more ammunition and were releasing it piece by piece. as others have said MW may well be closing the short and thats what how good front runners operate. I would not be at all surprised now if they slink away and we dont hear much more from them. Leaving the lemmings in a dangerous position as institutional buying could see a re rating up here. | ![]() brownie69

28/8/2019 09:03 | At the end of the day this about beating down all stocks Woodford holds and they made themselves an easy target. Shareprophets delight in it, and presumably enjoy seeing ordinary investors lose their money. BUR is the only higher risk holding I now have, although at a small level. If I listened only to the shorters I'd have sold out completely. I tend to play the odds in this whole world wide investing casino and I can't see why BUR would incriminate themselves by being the first to send MW dossier to FCA, SEC, and then opening themselves to a full SEC investigation/audit for the proposed NYSE listing. If there is something in the NAPO thing then I can see a clear counter argument and regardless, the FCA and SFO have far more serious fish to fry. Where are they with the goliath scandal of Quindell 6 yrs later? The shorters would have you believe BUR are about to be shut down any day now. | ![]() winsome
28/8/2019 08:36 | WCooper, your point about them making two contradictory claims on Napo is spot-on, and I have previously referreed to this. It seems they have tried to strongly inisinuate there was no win while very carefully not exactly saying so, either in their original report or now. They then try to focus on their other claim that the debt wasn't collectible. As for SK (his response to you is showing on the thread but I can't see it on the main page, not sure why), at least he is now showing his true nature with his bad language and full-blown tirade and empty denigration and lack of sympathy with people who are ill, arbitrary dismissal of a drug without any research, completely lacking in proper analysis, full of innuendo, and the absurd suggestion that there was no entitlement for Burford, yet Invesco somehow conspired with Napo to invent a debt which was not there. Really showing himself up now. | ![]() dgdg1

28/8/2019 07:27 | sk, you've clearly had a hard on with the Napo thing last few weeks and MW offered you some hand relief with his cynically timed release of his report yesterday. But the market failed to give you the climax you sought. You are focusing on this to the extent you can't see the wood for the trees. It would be clear to some who have actually read in detail BUR's relevant annual reports that there is a legitimate counter-argument against the Napo issue, should any regulator raise it with them. If you are as smart as you claim I shouldn't need to point it out to you and won't. You'd need to read the relevant reports with a dispassionate view, as I try to do. If and when the penny drops I suspect you'll keep it to yourself. | ![]() winsome
27/8/2019 22:35 | 1corrado, its only 754 to buy at mo. Trigger for me is 761, if I lose, you win, good luck. | ![]() dudishes
27/8/2019 22:29 | SK2, saw your post following mine. I'm aware of the % shorts on BUR, despite increase, 0,89% or something, I would expect that MW have closed (check the screens behind the man), I think he closed at roughly £4, having opened at £11, not at £13 (some thoughts) rather cute what? Assuming he has, fear is in the answers outstanding, bond holders (were they mislead), a massive amount of RNS required, I like the chance. | ![]() dudishes
27/8/2019 22:24 | well I have no choice to buy more tomorrow to edge from my mistake at 789.5 if it open on red. | 1corrado |
