I think a lot of vapers are vaping because it's something new to try. The young teens (the 'experience' generation) who are vaping aren't, imo, vaping to come off nicotene, but they may well graduate to nicotene once the shine wears off the new thrill of vaping.

Also vapes easier to fit into the pocket than the hookah.

@SG31

I try to give those that link "informative articles / facts" the benefit of the doubt in the first instance. Clearly little point engaging Buywell in any two way dialogue.

he FDA did not carry out proper testing on e-cigarettes , remember the following data was obtained from a FIRST time use of e cigs on young volunteers.

Anyone with half a brain would NEVER touch one again V stoke risk or loss of lung function

Others are now doing it for them :

VERY RECENT USA RESEARCH:

''volunteers took 16, three-second puffs from nicotine-free e-cigs.

Scientists then used a cuff to see how quickly blood flowed before and after using the device.

And MRI scans helped them assess how blood vessels were affected.

They found a 34 per cent reduction in the femoral artery's ability to dilate - or open to let blood through.

E-cigarettes also caused :

1) A 17.5% reduction in peak blood flow

2) A 20.0% reduction in venous oxygen

3) A 26.0% reduction in blood acceleration after the cuff was released - the speed at which blood returned to the normal flow after it was restricted.''
