26/3/2007 09:30 | I didn't say that you had missed anything BH (read It again). I merely suggested that you may have overlooked a previous announcement. If as you say that you have been thought all of their announcements then the mystery continues. | ![]() luderitz
25/3/2007 19:14 | Which announcement have I missed Luderitz? They are all listed in the news section and I've checked through them. | ![]() bountyhunter
25/3/2007 18:25 | Thank you Linhur. Maybe you have missed an announcement BH because as you say they must declare such holdings. | ![]() luderitz
25/3/2007 13:49 | Interestingly they didn't have a notifyable interest at all only a few months ago: so I'm surprised that there were not more holdings announcements between under 3% and the current one. | ![]() bountyhunter
25/3/2007 13:44 | Amvescap sold 250,000 shares and went under 10% | ![]() linhur
23/3/2007 15:23 | Seems to be back on an upward trend again. | ![]() luderitz
22/3/2007 13:13 | I tried to find out from Southwark Council. But you know what civil servants are like. They won't tell me about who got or were shortlisted for the contract. Veolia and Biff will go head to head. | ![]() watwungyi
22/3/2007 10:09 | How are the waste contracts mentioned earlier this year shapeing up? | 46pete
21/3/2007 23:02 | hoping for a breakout | ![]() gucci
21/3/2007 15:08 | I think that jump was budget putting tax up on waste, more cash flow. might be worth buying PNN. | ![]() sllab101
21/3/2007 14:27 | bit shortlived gucci but I take your point.. | ![]() mitzis

16/3/2007 11:31 | BIFF tipped as a buy | powerbook
16/3/2007 10:21 | If 340p is breached today then the share price will fly directly to over 350p to hit a new high. | beaudelaire
15/3/2007 16:24 | No problem - I see it climbing towards the 350p+ very quickly. | beaudelaire
15/3/2007 14:31 | Oh yeah!..the chart is telling me to stay away for the time being at least. There is a gap that could be filled around 270p. So I will pass on this one. But thanks for the rec. S. | ![]() sahara
15/3/2007 14:25 | I did sahara. | beaudelaire
15/3/2007 14:19 | Can't recall who said I should take a look at Biff, but I have looked at the chart and would like to see how it plays out before I look into it any further. S. | ![]() sahara
15/3/2007 12:27 | Can you imagine if say we wake up a good morning and BIFF says they had and approach at over £5 ! | beaudelaire
15/3/2007 09:19 | thanks sllab... I reckon Bridgewell might be right regaring a possible takeover but 500p is too low more like 600p. Growing profits 20 percentage a year they could achieve 500p by acquiisions alone. | ![]() mitzis
14/3/2007 18:27 | On the downside, Biffa (LSE: BIFF.L - news) edged 12-3/4 lower at 328 amid the wider negative market trend, while Bridgewell Securities welcomed the group's acquisition of Cory yesterday. In a research report this morning, Bridgewell Securities said the 588 mln stg Cory deal set a 'new benchmark in the UK waste sector' which suggests the sector could be 'underpriced'. The broker reiterated its 'overweight' stance on the stock, noting that the Cory acquisition suggests an exit price for Biffa of around 500 pence in the case of a bid. | ![]() sllab101
14/3/2007 13:41 | Everything is recovering FTSE & DOW - BIFF should follow. In addition BIFF is a vey defensive stock. Its business is needed under any economic conditions. | beaudelaire
14/3/2007 13:29 | I have been watching the DOW futures improve and bit the bullet and bought 16,0000 shares at 3.25. Lets hope my timing was good. | retroz3 |
