24/4/2017 07:40 | Back in the real world, RNS from BKY out. Plant construction proceeding to plan and below DFS costs. No mention of any permitting problems. | bookwormrobert
23/4/2017 22:51 | Zebbo you posted an article that had clearly been denounced by the journalist from the same paper? It was very obviously fake news. | herlat1
23/4/2017 18:50 | herlat1 - I am not posting fake news on purpose. Without clear cases made by each side its hard to see what is fake and what is not. I dont wake up in the morning, hear some news and decided what I think is fake or not. The only way is to fully understand if news is fake is to have access to the detail of what is happening on the ground. | zebbo
23/4/2017 09:27 | Rougepierre. Thank you for being that tiny oasis giving me hope that the there are sensible discussions to be had in a desert of conversational drought. | marvelman
23/4/2017 09:16 | herlat1 22 Apr '17 - 18:43 - 1548 of 1551 0 1 Bit of a shame his postings have caused Marvelman to lose money if that is his intention - particularly if the price recovers from here. I hoped I would be able to stay out of this bunfight but that post needs a response Herlat. It does seem you have not understood the point I have been making all along. Namely, that although I "lost" money on my original investment (6% for exact clarification)I would, just as you must have, lost a great deal more if I had not sold and stayed in like a rabbit in the headlights while it sank another 30%. Langostino simply posted an article that made me realise that the project had larger immediate and potential risks than I was prepared to tolerate. It was therefore not his fault in any way whatsoever that I lost money (6%) but was to his credit for his research and my own responsible judgement that I did not lose more. I have already noted one poster who, predictably, tells us that he was trading it down after all but whatever anyone does on this and any other bulletin board with their investment decisions is their own responsibility. I am a firm believer in taking losses on the chin before they take me and out. These bulletin boards are incredibly useful in doing the job they are primarily designed for...to be a method of exchanging information. Deciding on what information to act on (or not) and what is true (or false) is the trick and it seems one that eludes some on this board. I have been accused of only posting negativety but that is an impression, not a fact. If I could find positive news that is not overwhelmed by the current position the project finds itself in then not only would I post it I would re-invest in a heartbeat. There may well be an RNS on Monday morning that changes everything for the better for all I know but until one comes or until people like Langostino find something game changing I will (if allowed) keep out of these conversations that are more like back slapping self assurances than real discussion. Again, I wish all invested the best for their choices made. | marvelman
23/4/2017 09:08 | Zebbo please do stop reposting this green fake news. You posted this on LSE and have ignored that the local has mocked this Green nonsense: | herlat1
23/4/2017 08:19 | Post1544That is my understanding although have not heard those dates you mention.I have visited the mine & spent 3 hours with two of the key men on the ground. Very interesting & very exciting project. | plasybryn
23/4/2017 08:07 | Risk remains The Government has responded to Senator Carles Mulet of the Compromís group in a petition to give him a copy of the reports sent by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III concerning the Uranium mine in Retortillo. In this regard, the Government acknowledged, according to a press release sent by Stop Uranio, that no study has been carried out on the impact of the Retortillo mine on the health of the inhabitants of the planned facility. Ongoing, no clue as to what the gov will do | zebbo
22/4/2017 18:48 | Remember that the placing was at 45p, so there will be a lot of resistance at this level. The company itself more or less has to react to a significant fall below this threshold, otherwise it will be much harder for them to raise money (either debt or equity) in the future. Institutional shareholders don't like to lose money and have long memories! | bookwormrobert
22/4/2017 18:43 | Bit of a shame his postings have caused Marvelman to lose money if that is his intention - particularly if the price recovers from here. | herlat1
22/4/2017 18:39 | Because he sold up and wants back in a best price, obvious tactics I employ myself...lol | zebbo
22/4/2017 14:55 | Well done Lango for making money. Maybe you can share with us your next investment tip.So why so negative if you made money? | herlat1
22/4/2017 14:13 | Tricky business losing money buying in teens and selling in 40s - herlat1. New to this investing lark I see. | langostino
22/4/2017 13:50 | As I understand it, CSN approval is not two years away. That is merely the maximum time allowable for them to report. In fact, I believe their report is expected shortly (May/June). Or am I missing something? This share is something like 2/3 owned by institutional investors, who will have done extensive due diligence before investing at the end of last year. Did they get their due diligence wrong? | bookwormrobert
22/4/2017 13:33 | Lango that is a little harsh. The company is investing in a region of some of the highest unemployment in Europe and you are suggesting that the people applying for jobs are largely in work and hedging their bets?It appears to me that the objections to the mine have arisen and are in the media precisely because the mine is being actively developed.Sorry to hear that like Marvelman you are an ex shareholder who has lost money and is encouraging people to sell by posting the negative media reports and disparaging the Company's efforts. Again it appears to me that the company has done what it has said it would do and has attracted strong institutional backing to fund it.Lets hope your negative postings do not cause others to lose money. | herlat1
22/4/2017 13:16 | 20-30p range looks about right to me. | loveandmoney1
22/4/2017 12:54 | As an interested observer and reader of Spanish media, I will continue posting relevant press articles, usually without comment. They are not preselected by negativity but if that is how they come across it is a reflection of opinion in Spain. I am not particularly anti-nuclear but do empathise with locals whose way of life would be changed. For every job that would be created a job will be lost in the local spa, tourist and agricultural community, or possibly be imported from outside the area. The number of applications so patronisingly repeated by the company will come largely from people in work, hedging their bets. I held this share for a period in 2011/12 and again in 2015/16. For what its worth I do not believe the current squabbles between the company and environmentalists in government or the judiciary will be decisive. Everything hangs on CSN approval and that is two years away, however else it is spun. What will be interesting to investors is how this time vacuum will be filled and its effect on the share price | langostino
22/4/2017 11:44 | Thanks Rougepierre i agree that all posts are welcome and i can see that Marvelman was not gloating and unfortunately decided to take a loss. An alternatively view as you have alluded to is what ATYM went through - it was the institutional investors who made the money - not the PIs as i understand it.Marvelman sold and took a loss because he was (in part) spooked by Lango's postings. The instos dont read bulletin boards and they are patient and buy when others are fearful. Will be interesting to see whether Marvelman was wise to rely on Lango or better to wait. The | herlat1
22/4/2017 08:45 | Herlat You had assumed I was bragging about making a profit here before I sold and was now crowing about it while you guys were losing money. Not so. I made a loss before I sold due to the fact that I too felt this could only go one way based on the progress management had made to the point I bought in. However, langostino's posts made me think again and I sold taking my loss up to that point with me. But for his research and his disposition to share it on this bulletin board I would have lost substantially more. I do not believe in the philosophy of those who believe a loss is only a loss when shares are sold....I had lost money without a shadow of doubt and would surely have lost more if I had stayed in. Anyway, it would appear that you are not the only poster here who would prefer me not to post my views (i.e. from someone who has already lost money). I certainly do not want to be in a place that I am not welcome and therefore do gracefuly bow out of the conversations here so as not to spoil the board for others. I genuinely wish you and others who remain invested good fortune. Regards. | marvelman
22/4/2017 03:10 | Kreature welcome back!! Kreature/charles/lan | herlat1
22/4/2017 01:38 | what happened ? | kreature
21/4/2017 19:19 | Oh really Charles? Pray do tell why you Lango and Marvelman keep bobbing up with negativity? | herlat1
21/4/2017 18:59 | This will be much cheaper to buy before long imho. Glad I sold at 58p | charles clore |
