danmart2: Any credible legal challenge will take a minimum of 12 months, more likely 2 years 2 years should take us up the the next national Spanish election. Not a lot likely to happen with this share unless the ruling govt have a considerable change of heart on Uranium mining.
pugugly: Need a far larger discount if going to law before I would be tempted - A bit like the FOX claim - https://uk.advfn.com/stock-market/london/fox-marble-FOX/share-news/Fox-Marble-Holdings-PLC-Arbitration-Claim-against/80661505 Takes far longer and costs far more than expected -
swanvesta: Hence diluted cash per share is around 10p.
swanvesta: Alexios, convertibles are not options - the $65m loan will be converted into shares at the rate of 27p per share. There won't be any cash due, it's already been paid! They could get cash from the $55m of options, but the strike is 85p so highly unlikely to be exercised.
danmart2: Next elections 2023, BKY must wait patiently and build bridges with the opposition parties. The current Spanish government are no friends of BKY
rotors: US Uranium Mining ETF (URNM) very bullish on BKY. Fund Inception date April 2019 April 2021 holding reported as 3.638 million shares with value of $1.8m July 2021 holding had increased to 6,886,698 shares valued at $2.985m This equates to just below 3% so not required to be declared.
rotors: How interesting! wiseacre 15 Sep '15 - 16:58 - 125 of 2574 Has no one noticed. This must be the best performing resources stock in the firmament ----- goldenfish2010 5 Nov '15 - 17:51 - 163 of 2574 Paul Atherley on the helm?? No thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! wiseacre 5 Nov '15 - 22:02 - 164 of 2574 What's eating you goldenfish? At least he had the decency to return the money to shareholders at Leyshon rather than let it sink and BKY's shares have nearly trebbled since he took the helm last June. He's on to a winner here. ----- wiseacre 6 Nov '15 - 13:43 - 167 of 2574 Those worried about a share placing should be reassured by the fact that the mine development is likely to be financed largely by debt and off-take agreements. The company has sufficient cash ($11 million)to take it well into next year. Shareholders can take comfort from the fact that Numis, the house broker, has a target of £1 a share. That means, I suggest, a possible placing, at the time of the full banking feasibility study next spring, is unlikely to be below that level. The potential is huge. ----- I'm warming to you Ernie.
rotors: wiseacre18 Feb '21 - 18:34 - 2544 of 2545 "Old report A threat such as that will cut no mustard, Close to crunch time indeed. Wouldn't be long of this one" Hello ernie, every time you comment on here the share price goes up! +3.1% today Friday UK market. Please write again soon.
quepassa: Clearly the move to the Main Board and the new Madrid quotation have done nothing so far to support/stimulate the share price which unfortunately now looks to me like a falling knife. The question is just what has spooked the market so much to cause this massive sell-off at a time when other uranium stocks have been doing well? Berkeley has lost significantly more than 30% since December when by comparison sector bellwether Cameco has GAINED 30% over same time frame. Perhaps other posters, including especially herlat1, would care to share their views and opinions on why the BKY share price has fallen so very much recently at a time when other uranium companies have shown robust positive gains. ALL IMO.DYOR. QP
quepassa: do you have a persecution complex? nothing accusatory whatsoever. if you want accusatory, look no further than herlat1 who accuses anyone of being a green who asks probing questions. a straight question - which deserves a straight answer. To repeat, I am asking for comments on the evolution on the major retracement of the share price over the last twelve months which has proved to be very much at odds with the sky-rocket forecasts of the brokers and others. If you hadn't noticed the share price has fallen from 70p to 45p. I am heavily invested in uranium and if we take a share like Cameco, where I have significant holdings, it is effectively flat over twelve months compared to BKY. It is therefore of interest to me and others perhaps to hear views why the BKY share price has performed the way it has over the same time frame, especially from those who have been most vociferous. If no-one else will respond, prey what are your views please, bookworm, on why the share price has retrenched so very much? ALL IMO. DYOR. QP
