quepassa: hey pokkie, care to comment on your posts 2681, 2684 and 2685 in March? Since which time the price has halved to 18p. Care to comment??
wiseacre: The company's only hope rests on a PP victory in elections not due until the end of next year. In the meantime directors can continue to enjoy their fat salaries while no progress is made on the ground. With the share price now 10% below the April placing price there is only one way this is going: down. Expect the price to halve from here. One of the best opportunities to go short in this bear market.
piedro: Half year report out yesterday Profit .......... $3,015,000 N° shares ...... 445,797,000 EPS ............... $0.00676 Equity ......... $77,489,000 Equty/share ........ $0.1738 {presumably in AUD but not stated}
danmart2: It’s difficult to buy into BKY with the current Spanish govt in power. They have placed ideology over economic growth
pockstones: Anyone any ideas with the price up over eleven pence in a downmarket on good volume
danmart2: 9p now , and if the main investor pulls out that could feasibly put the share price nearer 3p
tigerbythetail: I completely fail to understand why this has rallied so strongly today. Judging by the accounts, the Omanis have a strong case for getting their money back - just look, the debt is included as a current liability! What does that tell you? Without the money, BKY are basically toast. This isn't investing into a potential uranium mine. This is staking money on the outcome of two legal cases - both of which I expect BKY to lose.
danmart2: Next elections 2023, BKY must wait patiently and build bridges with the opposition parties. The current Spanish government are no friends of BKY
quepassa: Clearly the move to the Main Board and the new Madrid quotation have done nothing so far to support/stimulate the share price which unfortunately now looks to me like a falling knife. The question is just what has spooked the market so much to cause this massive sell-off at a time when other uranium stocks have been doing well? Berkeley has lost significantly more than 30% since December when by comparison sector bellwether Cameco has GAINED 30% over same time frame. Perhaps other posters, including especially herlat1, would care to share their views and opinions on why the BKY share price has fallen so very much recently at a time when other uranium companies have shown robust positive gains. ALL IMO.DYOR. QP
quepassa: do you have a persecution complex? nothing accusatory whatsoever. if you want accusatory, look no further than herlat1 who accuses anyone of being a green who asks probing questions. a straight question - which deserves a straight answer. To repeat, I am asking for comments on the evolution on the major retracement of the share price over the last twelve months which has proved to be very much at odds with the sky-rocket forecasts of the brokers and others. If you hadn't noticed the share price has fallen from 70p to 45p. I am heavily invested in uranium and if we take a share like Cameco, where I have significant holdings, it is effectively flat over twelve months compared to BKY. It is therefore of interest to me and others perhaps to hear views why the BKY share price has performed the way it has over the same time frame, especially from those who have been most vociferous. If no-one else will respond, prey what are your views please, bookworm, on why the share price has retrenched so very much? ALL IMO. DYOR. QP
