Posted at 15/8/2023 19:56 by gatehill This dialogue is getting boring. I use this site to pick up useful bits of information about BKY; the above dialogue is not exactly helpful. |
Posted at 23/7/2023 21:32 by danmart2 Looks like a hung parliamentNew elections by the end of the year, either that or one of the main 2 parties gets into bed with so many smaller parties they will be hamstrung regardless. Bad news for spain economically, and in turn bad news for BKY |
Posted at 13/2/2023 20:05 by danmart2 Are you sure the Spanish elections will be lost by the current socialist government?I would suspect the BKY share price will raise and fall as per the opinion polls over the coming months |
Posted at 04/1/2022 13:24 by danmart2 It’s difficult to buy into BKY with the current Spanish govt in power. They have placed ideology over economic growth |
Posted at 03/11/2021 09:53 by tigerbythetail I completely fail to understand why this has rallied so strongly today.Judging by the accounts, the Omanis have a strong case for getting their money back - just look, the debt is included as a current liability! What does that tell you? Without the money, BKY are basically toast. This isn't investing into a potential uranium mine. This is staking money on the outcome of two legal cases - both of which I expect BKY to lose. |
Posted at 12/7/2021 15:44 by danmart2 Next elections 2023, BKY must wait patiently and build bridges with the opposition parties. The current Spanish government are no friends of BKY |
Posted at 11/7/2021 16:37 by rotors US Uranium Mining ETF (URNM) very bullish on BKY.Fund Inception date April 2019 April 2021 holding reported as 3.638 million shares with value of $1.8m July 2021 holding had increased to 6,886,698 shares valued at $2.985m This equates to just below 3% so not required to be declared. |
Posted at 16/4/2021 22:00 by danmart2 One last question regarding BKY, why is the market cap so high at £84 million? On my calculations it’s higher than the current reality which is real estate with potential |
Posted at 03/11/2020 16:51 by rotors Up 20% in Madrid Nov 3rd. on good volume of 17.4 million shares. No news. All 7 trades in London logged as 'buys'. NSCII approval still awaited. A random thought (not a prediction): Non-Executive Director Nigel Jones is not standing for re-election at the November 25 AGM, due to "corporate governance requirements at Rio Tinto PLC", Berkeley says. Rio Tinto started in Spain (the name reflects their first site in Huelva) and they are uranium producers. Does this leave BKY open to a bid from Rio? |
Posted at 15/10/2020 16:42 by ascov Fortunately i was already out. However i think this space may still be worth watching. As i understand it this is a rocky left wing coalition and Covid effects are not likely to bode well for parties in power (watch out Boris )as electorates like to blame them even if it's not their fault. A pandemic is a long time in politics. They haven't got the bill through yet and in the long term, money talks. So there is potential mileage here over time. The price will surely plummet back to previous levels (sub 10) but BKY may not be dead yet |
