29/3/2022 04:39 | We should get a small tick up today as trading in Australia yesterday was bid 34 cents offer 34.5 cents GBP =19p. 19.5p | janekane
28/3/2022 11:54 | Eventually, that real profitability becomes dividends. The economics of Toliaria are such that the annual dividend could eventually exceed the current share price. Not a share to be trading or second-guessing market reactions to announcements, but if you believe that shares are stakes that represent partial ownership in real businesses and are worth the NPV of the cash they will generate in their lifetimes, then the patient reap these rewards. | dangersimpson2
28/3/2022 11:45 | At the risk of sounding old and bitter - the problem is the market doesn't seem to care about ethical credentials or real profitability. The market prefers unrealistic hype about future potential. | brownmruk
25/3/2022 21:01 | I agree. They seem to operate in an exemplary way and dare I say I'm proud to read some of their achievements which are well communicated on Twitter. | plasybryn
25/3/2022 19:09 | The way our company has operated in Kenya has been a great success with the infrastructure created for the local inhabitants and workers as testament to the way it values the local population Absolutely life changing schools ,hospital ,medical centres roads massive increase’s in small to medium companies supplying all of the local needs and our living’s needs of a tremendous workforce Something the ministry of mining Madagascar must be aware of | janekane
24/3/2022 18:32 | Well they weren't making much progress with the old regime, so let's hope there is now a real chance of progress. | marktime1231
24/3/2022 18:15 | The share price keeps ticking up which might suggest things are more favourable. | plasybryn
24/3/2022 18:14 | I wonder how soon it will be before the Co get a feel if the new Minister for Mines is going to be amenable to granting permits. I bet they are trying to get an audience with the new Minister to make the necessary introductions and discover how they can satisfy his/her requirements. In the meantime it's hard to know if our chances have improved or not. | plasybryn
24/3/2022 17:44 | Interesting discussion on the probability of Madagascar go-ahead. I invested here in 2018 thinking there was a chance I'd get my investment returned in dividends regardless of Toliara. I'm still holding despite being no clearer on the chances of reaching an agreement for Toliara. | brownmruk
24/3/2022 16:52 | I'm not a big holder either but over 100,000 and keep adding from time to time. It's a bit binary and Kenya's limited life does concern me a bit. But like you with Madagascar I see this as a multi bagger. I also love all the ESG activity as communicated via Twitter. I can align with that and it makes me feel good about my investment. They deserve to succeed and I remain optimistic that they will. | plasybryn
24/3/2022 16:46 | Thanks - I got confused by your words our employees. I took that to mean you were also an employee . My mistake. | plasybryn

23/3/2022 20:24 | Very quiet thread. Nicely under the radar. I wonder how confident investors are that we will get the go ahead at Madagascar in Q2? I suspect Australian investors are slightly better informed but I consider there to be at least a 75% chance. Any others care to share their views? | plasybryn

03/3/2022 17:25 | Danger - "Talk on the ground is that Toliara will be the next big one". Base will transform into a different Co. if the fiscal terms are agreed say by end of April. It is encouraging to hear that other projects do seem to be given the go ahead after such a long moratorium of inaction. The DFS2 just shows what a fantastic project this is. But we've got news to come on North Dune ( DFS study expected June quarter I believe) and other Tanzanian drill results I believe. And of course ex dividend on 11th March. I do rate these guys and in this climate where ilmenite etc is in high demand I feel 2022 could be the year BASE Resources moves into overdrive. We can but hope. | plasybryn
