I’d hate to play poker with either sides negotiation team . Have no idea what cards either side are holding or if they are bluffing.

Yep, I think we've all aired our feelings on this! Probably best to return to the essence of what this thread is all about - Aviva. spud

To be honest given the circumstances I’m expecting a no deal the terms on offer would be worse than staying in the union and serves know purpose we have to be able to make are own decisions or the exercise is futile and pointless.

I hope someone has warned them about Boris' principles; "As you know Dom, I am a man of principle. And my principle is that I can bonk who I want, when I want." The wonderful Spitting Image once more.

Both sides seem to have painted their self’s into a corner and will not want to be seen as giving in. Market seem to have priced in an agreed exit.

I hope they are right but fear they may not be.

It looks as though most holders are staying for the 7p Dividend XD tomorrow...that would give an effective price of about 325p if you think the share price will absorb the normal fall over the next week or so. I expect it to recover regardless of Brexit result for deal or no deal. Boris failed to answer yet again to any questions directly at PMQ...like Ineos Radcliffe switching to production in France rather than Wales as earlier intended....where'is the huge surge of investment in the UK coming from on a NO DEAL, and even on a half-baked deal. Hope I am wrong and his bluster will prevail...not a leader in my opinion, but we will know in about 5/6 hours. Good luck holders...

Oh really? In my view the imbecile Johnson, his cabinet of crawlers, and his Brexiteer ultras are prepared to destroy this Country's economy because some ridiculous notion of 'sovereignty' that is actually worth sweet f.a. in the 21st century. The morons that voted for Brexit will be first to be outraged when the economic realities begin to bite next month and start to hit them directly in the wallet.

The problem is the EU wants to impose rules on us that does not respect the sovereignty of the nation. I don't see its open to negotiation.

Wonder if he's taking his oven ready meal err deal with him. He can also take the vegetables err cabinet members with him and just get the french fries over there.

If it all goes awry he could go to the US and stand for president at next US elections, after all he is a New Yorker.

The market is reacting as if there is very likely going to be a deal. I think Boris is in a no-win situation, if he backs down and signs he and the conservatives are finished, he could lose a huge chunk of the leave vote, unless he is the most amazing salesmen in the universe, while at the same time all the left-wing papers will say what was the point of it all, or he could go for the no-deal option and try to make it work and take the leave vote with him.
Some say Boris will do whatever is best for Boris. Some say the conservatives will do whatever is best for the conservative party and the country will follow. I am holding cash and waiting to see what happens.
Gambling odds are 65% for deal 35 against at the moment.

I have no idea what will happen with Brexit, but the Spitting Image sketch where Dom sucks all his ideas out of Boris' brain before returning to Epsilon 5 seemed to sum up Boris; when asked what their policy is for Brexit (by his cabinet) Boris (who has a vacant drooling expression now he has been lobotomised by Dom) replies ...... 'pudding'. The cabinet then rejoice with the comment that the old Boris is back.

Will go to the wire until Boris says “no deal”. Then the Eu will cave.

Just the way a negotiation works, particularly with the French.

I’ve always expected the last minute theatre of being tough, Boris flies in to rescue, french being unreasonable but we’ve beaten them back etc cycle repeat.

Got to be nonsense the lot of it and all was agreed well in advance I would hazard.
