Not sure how we jumped from the original argument to this one Charles but OK I will play along.
In a cesspit that is the junior miners market, Ariana is towards the less risky end. Although it always flatters to deceive and only for a short period in nearly 20yrs has it lived up to its potential. Still we can live in hope.

But rather than invest at 5% in the risky money market, I'd much rather invest in AAU and watch the profits roll in at various points in the future. If I wasn't pretty sure that's going to happen, I wouldn't be here. So why are you here?

Or there is that little to cheer here anything is clung on to like a limpet to a rock. 🤷‍a94;️

Probably because Charles does not always look on the dark side of life :-D.It can be a miserable world - if you make it so.

Charles you can't call it a good move and sing the praises of the BoD until you know the buy and sell price.
I have no idea and I doubt does anyone else. How do you know they didn't buy it when it was last at $2000 earlier in the year thinking it was going higher.

If AISC is circa 1,000 there is a 100% margin at 2,000. If buy at 1,900 and it moves to 2,000 it is only 5%. You can get that in the money market, effectively risk free.

Soul - no, but Im pretty sure it would have been lower than $2000. Do you know?

I was going to say something similar but then I thought about it logically , they speculate in gold producing companies or explorers what's the difference? Apart from this element of their investment is more secure ?

Why Charles do you know what the price of gold was when they accumulated it?

Sorry, their job is to mine efficiently and grow production, not speculate on the price of gold. Who on the BoD has the skillset to know where the price of gold is heading? If I wanted to invest in somebody to speculate on the gold price it wouldn't be with this BoD.

Copper carbonate - one of the common supergene products of copper ore and one that we encounter frequently in our exploration programmes.

And who in their right mind would not be gobbling up gold right now with all of the uncertainty out there - if it’s good for central banks...One reason Ariana holds gold bullion, because faith in the debt-based financial system and dollar supremacy is eroding fast.

For what it's worth BB, a agree with you, my view is that selling is from a distressed position, and no doubt we have all been in that position sometime in our investment lives? well I certainly have. Backing the fundamentals, and of the opinion that markets will will correct and that this could be explosive in our sector. Don't care if this takes another 6 months or 24, but it will happen. I consider this (AAU)as one of my less risky positions, but confident in it, yes the lack of simple updates can be , and is frustrating, but if still accumulating, (which I am) when I'm not bothered, when I reach my target position, then I'll be getting vocal! purely selfish reasons, but heyho. that's what it is. Happy Friday. Watch out for the 500k buys, they might signal the start of the cup.

My view , hard as it is to swallow is that this seller and I'm convinced it's Rowan estate who happen to hold 13 percent of SVE who have suddenly decided to liquidate company (no coincidence in my view) has afforded the opportunity to buy and increase my holding at these ridiculous levels. I don't feel it is linked to fundamentals which are as strong as ever with tarsvan and expo opps. If I'd have ran the company I'd have probably approached the seller at least to confirm the situation and then potentially buy back shares but the board unfortunately don't have the inclination or skill set to conduct this endeavour. Mine you if I ran the company I wouldn't have found any gold. When there is a indiscriminate seller not linked to fundamentals I'll always try take advantage. Although patience is wearing thin as it's bound too. GLA.

Just another junior exploration company sinking whatever they manage to raise into the ground and paying wages konil, before coming back to the market again. It's a totally different proposition with Apliki.
