A must do legal step on the way. So they can issue paper to the public.

Ps - advisers know who the buyers will be. I am curious as a small child. So many cheap producing copper mines on discount offer. Why bother with Venus. Must be strategic imho but then why go public? I can not process it.

Although the definition is not totally straightforward a company is generally referred to as public if it is traded on a stock exchange, prior to that it is private, so I think the change is taken as implying the IPO is imminent.

Must admit that until today I didn't know Scotland had any gold - I knew Wales did in Anglesey because of Kates wedding ring!
Just had a brief read of their RNSs, can't decide if they have got the geology wrong, whether they have the board wrong or whether there is just too much accumulated debt for it to be viable. In other words I haven't got a clue. I am confident however that AAU has the experience to come to the correct decision.

Keri's mentioned Australian opportunity in interview. This was mentioned months ago. Scotgold states talks broke down October new company in frame. Not sure why (apart from sangster connection) it is being mentioned.

Oh I hope not SGZ is a basket case and we’d do well to stay well away, unless we got it for free out of administration or the like and even then I’d take a lot of convincing …..there are surely better investments and plays out there. SVE are passing their holdings in AAU and GGP on to their shareholders, except maybe a few to cover costs - bearing in mind that that they have smaller shareholdings which they are selling (KEFI, Cora etc) which will give them cash. So I doubt that the AAU sales are from them.
