SP Angel Brokers today on gold:-

Gold strengthens as Fed officials anticipate end of hiking cycle, weighing on rates
Spot gold prices have pushed above $1,865/oz this morning after the Dollar fell to a September 29 low.
The US 10-year yield slid below 4.6% having hit 2007 lows of 4.85% last week.
Sliding real yields, as inflation moderates, are expectated to fuel a rally in gold prices, supported by a risk premium on the back of rising middle eastern tensions.
CPI data due tomorrow will be a key catalyst for gold prices following today’s PPI numbers.

though could do with some explanation why the cash balance has dropped so much. (the gold purchase doesn't account for it all, or does it?)

not so happy about the slack comms.

whatever happened to "some of the most exciting exploration drilling results that we have ever announced".
i may have missed something but afaik nothing heard about this since that comment on 21st june.

Depends how you work it out lol. If I just look at what I have bought then yes but I did sell quite a few low six and high fives.Since bought them back and more in the 2.2 - 5p range but mostly at the higher end of that unfortunately. No rush for me though so Kerim being careful is OK with me.

Soul, yes he lost a packet on Rmm and on Chf and nearly likewise on Hzm, or so he said. I think he lost on that as well truth be known, as it crashed to fast for any to get out. Every one he touches turns to dust.

Was going to mention those loans to associates, but I think its been covered off as the Venus loans that were converted to equity to raise the holding to 58%? Sometimes I don't seem to see every message, not sure why that is. Probably because I am too mean to subscribe!
Anyway, PoG has ticked up a bit which I suppose is down to the situation in Gaza. Time for kip.
