04/10/2023 14:39 | They have plenty of I without the A too :-) | ![]() shortarm
04/10/2023 14:19 | Can't believe there is so little interest in the AI prospects for AAU on this board. I am bouncing. | ![]() thanksamillion
04/10/2023 11:54 | It looks like an executor sale to me, just following an instruction regardless of news. A bit daft not to approach an institutional investor IMO but maybe they tried. Either way the company seems to be progressing well, if slowly, and the share price should bounce once the seller is out of the way and Tavsan comes on line. | ![]() dodie1
04/10/2023 11:43 | Maybe Newmont are selling some so that they can pay the 16.8 billion for Newcrest :-D | ![]() shortarm
04/10/2023 11:40 | Exactly because no one ever dies, changes strategy or just has a guaranteed winner :-D | ![]() shortarm
04/10/2023 11:30 | If there are many persistent sellers, it suggest something is wrong with the company. If, however, you blame the selling on one single seller, it suggests that you have got it correct and the one seller has got it wrong. | ![]() jaf1948
04/10/2023 10:04 | No i have seen Co's admit in shareholder meetings they have a persistent seller who is known. They make it their business to find out and try to discover the reason behind the sell. Perhaps they can reassure or as i said place the shares with other buyers. This is part of the chairman's job working with the brokers to manage the share portfolio to retain confidence and support when it is needed. I'm sorry but we know how inept this lot are. They haven't heard of the word proactive. | ![]() plasybryn
04/10/2023 09:58 | The Chairman? When has he ever been fully employed? Or do i do him a misjustice? | ![]() plasybryn
04/10/2023 09:30 | Sorry soul, not going to comment further. | ![]() thanksamillion
04/10/2023 09:07 | They certainly aren't savy enough for that from my discussions with them over the years. Having said that I'm not sure how legal it would be declaring to the market there's a big seller with x left as that could definitely affect purchasing patterns. What they could do is get broker to pull their finger out of Backside and match to an institutional investor. However Panmure Gordon were less than useless when I approached them in that regard a few years ago. As a result of what I viewed incompetence it fell through but they did offer to sell on the open market for their fees. I told them where to go as I felt that would affect shareprice but they obviously didn't give a toss. Hence my dislike of Panmure Gordon. | ![]() bigglesbingham
04/10/2023 09:04 | Suspect their hand are full at the moment. There IS so much going on, so many projects. | ![]() thanksamillion
04/10/2023 08:58 | When there is a known and persistent long term seller, i have known Co's to admit this and reassure Investors they are at least monitoring the situation, and know when the end is expected. Better still they act proactively with their Brokers and approach potential Institutional/large private investors with a view to finding a home for the shares. Is our Chairman doing that, or do they just sit back with a laissez faire attitude? | ![]() plasybryn
04/10/2023 08:54 | Sorry that should be coal face. | ![]() plasybryn
04/10/2023 08:53 | It would be nice to get regular picture updates of Tavsan construction on Twitter and or Linkedin as well. Not rocket science but important relevant communication you would think they would want to share. I know they have already delivered one mine (Kiziltepe) but surely there must be excitement as the second mine comes together. Reassurance that it is on budget and on schedule is always music to investors ears and builds interest and confidence. Is the silence because Kerim is so far from the cal face? | ![]() plasybryn
04/10/2023 08:46 | When there is a broker selling against every buy there is no chance for the share price to rise. I'm convinced that it's a broker working on behalf of a major seller. The pattern is too consistent. Everytime there has been buys over last six months they have been almost immediately matched by a sell. This is where one have to focus on the company and not the shareprice. Sellers disappear eventually and buyers continue if the story is strong enough. There is a lot to look forward to but it frustrating . Management get the flack when share price in the mire but I try to look beyond the share price and at the progress the company is making. I'd like like the HIZ results to be produced in short order however as drilling completed in July I think they said. | ![]() bigglesbingham
04/10/2023 08:26 | Thanks for that Renniks2016, I mentioned previous that I would like to see AAU move to develop AI into their exploration tool kit and here is the answer. Brilliant news. Dont worry about the down mark its probably that Cinoib, who can always be counted on to turn up when the share price is suffering. | ![]() thanksamillion

04/10/2023 05:57 | We in the AAU shareholders BB do not have a sense of humour that we are aware of.! | ![]() shortarm

03/10/2023 17:56 | Neither are exactly 'intrepid' by the definition of the word zangdook. However they have taken nearly 20yrs of wages for not so much shareholder value so they are certainly not stupid. | ![]() soulsauce
03/10/2023 17:13 | Which is our intrepid leader? The Fat Controller or Ned Kelly? | zangdook |
