07/12/2021 12:55 | And AAZ has actually paid out more in Dividends than it raised to build the mine...... | ![]() shortarm
07/12/2021 12:31 | AAZ board is remarkably similar to this one, for remarkably similar reasons. | ![]() dixi
07/12/2021 10:18 | Yes, 1.4p to 4.1P and more mines on the way, all in a terrible market with. Pandemic on top.Outstanding performance!!! | ![]() shortarm
07/12/2021 09:25 | I believe there are still 32m options outstanding, 48m at Dec 20 less 16m exercised to date this year. Remember that 20m options were awarded to other staff. Total options awarded in 2017 were 64m. | ![]() xow98
07/12/2021 09:03 | I think most of us agree directors milk their company for easy money, often undeserved. AAUs directors have compared to most peers, done a good job. | ![]() temujiin
07/12/2021 08:33 | They awarded themselves 44m options in Dec 17 at an exercise price of 1.55 when the share price was at 1.25, but 2 weeks before had been at 1.40. 2 weeks later share price was at 1.55, so not much “long term” in that incentive. This was at the same time as the infamous “bonus shares”. They can’t issue any more options until 2023 unless there are “exceptional circumstances” | ![]() xow98
07/12/2021 08:02 | The share price goes up and down and, unlike every other stock on the market, is unaffected by people buying and selling? I see. | zangdook
07/12/2021 07:15 | Hey, so when was that again? The last time they gave options? 2017 and the price was 1.25p or thereabouts. Kerim's salary is low compared to peers but you just wanna little cry right?Jealousy is such an awful thing petal x | ![]() shortarm
07/12/2021 00:09 | AAU's share price goes up and down all the time. There is nothing to tie todays 0.1p drop on the director share dealing, anymore than any other day when the share price moves 0.1p. | ![]() temujiin
06/12/2021 23:22 | The effect on the share price of the chairman dumping more than twice your entire holding is not insignificant. If you were looking to increase he may have done you a favour this time. Just hope he's taking a break if you ever need to sell. | zangdook
06/12/2021 21:28 | MdV exercise of 3m options, and sell of 2m are a storm in a thimble. There are over a billion AAU shares and MdV, is left with 1m extra shares and a few £10's of 1000's in cash. It's peanuts, means nothing and says nothing about AAU. Buying or selling on the strength of random occasional director share dealing is, imo, not a sensible strategy. It's important to focus on AAU's fundamentals like profitability, prospects, exploration news flow and obv any risks like geopolitical, POG. Personally I couldn't give a stuff about an absolutely insignificant percentage transaction by MdV, and FWIW have increased my holding to just shy of 1m again. | ![]() temujiin
06/12/2021 19:49 | Buzz words today are greed feed need? bleed and trough..and that's tough. | ![]() 8rad
06/12/2021 17:33 | Topped up again today under 4p. by far the biggest shareholding in my portfolio did not think to ever see this price again, can't believe it everything except the communication to the outside world seems great. Surely people can see the picture we can | trevor12345
06/12/2021 16:25 | I keep an open mind but cannot find a single reason why the company would need a higher share price at the current time. They are cash rich and have very little debt. They can finance their operations from the current account, topped up regularly by production. I cannot see any downside risk going forward. The company has changed into a yield investment rather than share price growth. It should be quite interesting when they have developed one of their assets and have something to sell. | ![]() charles clore
06/12/2021 15:51 | You are right Plasybryn. There is some much that they can be proud of but because they hide their light under a bushel, for whatever reason I will never understand, they are remembered for things like today that stick in the craw. In this market new shareholders are hard to come by so the company should be doing much more to attract them, not the opposite. | ![]() soulsauce
06/12/2021 15:09 | Try not to read anything into it. It's not sinister. You have to presume he need the money, so took it. It will pass. | ![]() dixi
06/12/2021 14:59 | There is very little incentive to try to push up the share price when you can receive more than my annual pension in a day though options. Taking your options when the share price is floundering gives completely the wrong message to the market - or it is completely the right message ? | ![]() jaf1948 |
