I'm 3 years behind Jaf and 4 behind bosbus. I don't know the average demographic but I'd like to think we would have all made it to break even by this year. My first profit taking will be at 10p and then 20, 30 and 50. A million at a time. Leaving 2m for dividends. If that happens before I'm 80 I'll be well happy.

Safe to say the headline figures are very much base case, cost savings will be made, higher grade ore blended, gold recovered, capacity increased. Will be massively profitable in the coming years.The new area 3km away could be magic for the figures if it's high grade.

Always enjoy your posts and understand your position as LTH and 73yrs. I'm in the same boat but a year older. This is by far my biggest holding and I break even at 5.1p. Bought my first tranche at sub 1p. Will look forward to your return in February. Hope it's a Happy New Year for us all.🤞

So assuming that we are 50:50 in Venus that would mean £1.3m a year into Ariana at current copper prices. Not a bad start for the Cyprus operations, they will be self funding on the exploration side and sending a nice chunk back to Ariana. The regular dividend edges ever closer.

Any one else noticed the correlation between AAU share price and gold price 2012-now. Clearly AAU has done much better than gold alone but the potential 10 year cup and handle is the same in both charts

I also like this:- ONE OF THE PREMIER GOLD MINING CO's IN TURKEY. What does that mean in terms of a production/revenue target I wonder?

JAF, I understood exactly what your post was saying, and so did many others. These boards can be cruel at times, although AAU is probably one of the better ones, with like minded people who want the best from their investment. Don't take January off, stay posting here and say what you want to say. I don't always agree with everyone, but life would be boring if we all agreed on everything. Stay safe and best wishes for an exciting 2022 with AAU.

Well Ariana got through it’s long drawn out transaction in 2021 successfully and set itself up as a broader, more diversified Co. ready to take the steps to grow towards its goal of being a £500m Co. by the end of the decade. It is positioning itself to take advantage of the paradigm shift to greener energy creating unprecedented demand for the likes of copper and even silver. 2021 was lack lustre in share price performance terms, but I suspect we have finished treading water and the future is bright for 2022. Good luck everyone. Stick with it JAF.

JAF- sleep on it, you might feel different tomorrow, too many things happening this coming year, things that I'm sure will make you feel more positive, but more importantly, as soul says, to provide balance and reason for debate, which makes this board one of the best, most interesting and informative boards I've had the pleasure on being involved with. It's not new year yet so I am free to answer !

It was not that comment on its own. I accept I am more a half-empty person than a half-full one and that can come across in some of my posts (but not the one this morning). It is that I am 73 and have got to the stage in life that if something is unpleasant or gives me no enjoyment, then I would rather not waste any more of my remaining time being involved with it. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me, and in fact I enjoy those discussions, but I have to admit I am affected by personal comments so the best thing to do is to avoid them.

I will keep reading this board for as long as I hold Ariana (coming into my 6th year).

A new year starts in just over a day and my one and only new year's resolution is that I will NEVER again post on here.

Edit: I will just add - I'm sorry to disappoint the people who have enjoyed my comments over the years and I thank you for the many nice comments and good discussions that we have had.
