17/10/2020 08:52 | Thanks for all the workRight, next week I'm really torn between AAZ, BUR, EML, 4D and PXC. Surely the wait at PXC must be about to end...but I'm going to go with EML. Showing signs of strength and a great presentation yesterday showing how undervalued it is compared to peers | ![]() mad foetus

16/10/2020 19:35 | Matt, I'm a fully-fledged supporter of EW and retracement levels and, so, I think you misunderstand my comment. You can't call a price on a weekly chart (108p) 'very strong support' just because it's a common fib retracement level when we've closed only one week at approximately that level. We disagree and have done so politely, so I can't see it's an issue. Others will read the thread and make up there own mind about any post. | ![]() ptolemy
16/10/2020 19:06 | Ptolemy, i think you are being particularly disingenuous with that post. I am aware that you are not averse to EW theory & retrace levels. anyway, we'll have to disagree | ![]() mattjos
16/10/2020 18:44 | Wan, i held onto all my txp, will top up, not sure how low it will go. Its a wait and see for the moment. | ![]() swallowsflysouth
16/10/2020 18:31 | The wonderful AAZ thread continues to enlighten. A month ago few could spell Nagorno-Karabakh and fewer could place it on a map. Now, Transcaucasian experts are tripping over each other. On a specific post - 40702 - I see no evidence to support the comment, 'some very strong support here this week.' In July 2019 price moved up impulsively through 108 and in March 2020 it plunged impulsively down through 108, only to move back up through it the next month. In short, on the weekly chart, 108 has never been either a support or resistance price. That doesn't mean it can't be, just that it hasn't been. But, frankly, I doubt you want it to be because on a weekly timeframe price will have to stay close for more than a month for support to be evident. The support resistance areas on the weekly timeframe where price has been 'sticky' are the congestion levels at (approximately) 42p, 82p, 116p and 124p. | ![]() ptolemy
16/10/2020 18:10 | #3Sporrons.. balance and diversification is the key to staying in the game long term.., nobody can argue against that... :o) I am stake building as events come along, the March sell off was an unexpected buying opportunity, as were this weeks prices, clearly the conflict direction will drive the share price trend near term, and positive news flow will probably get lost in the noise, but buying back 18 months worth of time and share price with positive news flow due with an increasing dividend is attractive.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/10/2020 16:15 | I think sometimes one has to go large and go early and accept it may go wrong,,, which is easier to do when it's from previous profits made elsewhere and not new cash,,,, much harder to do with new cash in my limited experience,,, I guess it shouldn't be, but just seems to be for me at my stage of learning this game :-) Good luck to us both Rb,,,, Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi

16/10/2020 16:11 | Likewise to an extent Wan, well far more than normal, my more recent pharma/bio picks wouldn’t generally go past a £5k gamblers punt. This one I’ve broke way past my rules. | ![]() riggerbeautz

16/10/2020 16:07 | LLB Eyeballed 104-5p for another drip feed but abstained. Still plenty of cash, just concerned about how high a weighting i'm comfortable with. Prepared to add if goes lower or bottom firms. Who knows what the weekend will bring? All best with your hoovering. [Sucked up some GSK yesterday when it sank to March lows.
