16/10/2020 10:35 | Russia has no moral high ground whatsoever, but then who has? | ![]() casual47
16/10/2020 10:33 | Russia can't condemn the Azeri government for militarily reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. After all that's what the Russians did in Crimea... | goodgrief
16/10/2020 10:32 | 2sporrans, yes, I can understand why the Azerbaijans are reluctant and distrustful of the Russians. However, on the humanitarian cease fire I can only assume that they are acting in bad faith now as they have done nothing to make it work. It wasn't even a full cease fire. It was literally just a temporary one to recover the dead, exchange prisoners etc. On a basic human level that's pretty despicable. | ![]() casual47
16/10/2020 10:28 | Plainly Russia doesn't want Azerbaijan turning into another jihadi haven, I doubt the Azeri's want that either, but we now see that Russia is engaged with the conflict, and presumably wants to see it settled quickly? The quicker it's sorted, the less chance for Turkey to extend it's influence. | ![]() lefrene
16/10/2020 10:23 | Casual Overseers on arrival, peace keepers in due course? Once in situ, they may not be budging.... | ![]() 2sporrans
16/10/2020 10:18 | You should follow Raoul Pal on youtube/ real vision/ Twitter for some good coverage on crypto. Simon Dixon is also very knowledgeable. | ![]() brasso3
16/10/2020 10:13 | I am only starting with crypto currency in my defense I ignored it for years but went into ARB recently after you mentioned it and it seemed people were buying that for similar reasons to gold. Think I should be doing some more research in this area could be lucrative, I am sure I heard someone at the FED floating the idea of getting rid of paper money not that long ago, all part of the conspiracy I am sure :0) | ![]() pogue
16/10/2020 10:09 | 2sporrans, it was specifically to try to salvage the humanitarian cease fire - i.e. allowing the dead to be recovered from the battlefield so they can be given a dignified burial. If not now then when? When they've decomposed beyond recognition? | ![]() casual47
16/10/2020 10:08 | Pogue The crypto community would be appalled to hear you confuse 'digital currency' with 'crypto currency' or more specifically 'Bitcoin'. :) I am 70:30 Bitcoin to Ethereum. | ![]() brasso3
16/10/2020 10:03 | Mattjos the weekly chart has formed a nice pennant. edit, ooops that link only gives a 5 minute chart, people will have to click the weekly themselves. | ![]() lefrene
16/10/2020 09:59 | Brasso all we have to do is work out how to make money on it is my view to any problem. Digital currency is looking a good idea as is gold. Regards the digital currency a city banking friend at dinner the other night told me Ethereum is the one to back, she would not say any more. | ![]() pogue
16/10/2020 09:55 | Casual Is that "no" as in never or maybe as in not yet? | ![]() 2sporrans
16/10/2020 09:54 | Pogue All rather depressing but I am also becoming a believer. | ![]() brasso3
16/10/2020 09:53 | liking the gold chart more and more …. cant be long now before it breaks for 2100 | ![]() mattjos
16/10/2020 09:51 | Terrapol "I think the "Ongoing risk discount" always existed on our valuation. From Day 1." For sure. Question is, what the 'new normal' will be, going forward.? Higher for longer my expectation, pending any enduring resolution. Still think the current share price very probably a long term bargain. | ![]() 2sporrans
16/10/2020 09:42 | It's not peace keepers but military observers of the humanitarian cease fire agreement that Russia wants. Azerbaijan said no. | ![]() casual47
16/10/2020 09:42 | pogue, i have sent a PM. | ![]() 11_percent
16/10/2020 09:41 | Developments in Armenia do seem to be heading the way you suggest lefrene. Russia has sent out overtures of it providing peace keepers. Brain gone foggy on what the Azerzi response has been. For sure, ending the suffering must be weighing ever more in the minds of the majority of the people afflicted. Politicians make wars; the people take the hit. | ![]() 2sporrans

16/10/2020 09:35 | Brasso have a read of this one it outlines the conspiracy theory that this was all planned before 2014 as that was when Christine Lagarde first mentioned it. | ![]() pogue
16/10/2020 09:31 | That's a text book definition of obsequiousness... | goodgrief
16/10/2020 09:24 | 2SPORRANS, I think the "Ongoing risk discount" always existed on our valuation. From Day 1. Therefore the present drop in overdone in my mind. Also convinced the company highlited a possible 5-10% shortcoming to the year end to cover in case of more difficulties. Would be very surprice if much more than 5% would be missed. Knowing the company well, they are playing safe. AAZ is run by a group of professional gentlemen. And we the Club members as Bill Morgan calls it, are lucky to be part of it. | ![]() terropol |
