Pogue

Apparently the big reset was behind the central banks around the world repatriating all of their gold.

Mike Mahoney covered this is his youtube clip yesterday.

there are stories out there the Big Reset was planned about 10 years ago and corona virus was discussed. My mate was telling me the other night I dismissed it but the idea has stayed in my mind and it becomes more believable daily.

"The mine isn’t in the conflict area" - cf

Depends on how you define that area.

Like Ganja is not in the NK area either but certainly has been in the wars.
The mines are located about the same distance from the Northern front of the NK war
zone and roughly half way to the East of the 'peaceful' Armenian border towards Ganja.

My recent buys [ongoing] have been placed on the assumption that a full blown war between Ajerbaijan and Armenia won't ensue.
If that happens, then the mines [or more pointedly the plant and tailings dam, even Gedabay town] could, potentially, be targeted.
Even then, my guess, fwliw, is that 'the mine' will be left alone as won't serve Armenian interests significantly to damage 'it', while risks a serious bruising of relations with the UK and maybe the USA too.
There will simply be a lot of other preferred targets.
Others will have a different perception of the risks though; quite a number are obviously taking a more pessimistic or at least risk adverse view.
Hence the net selling may well take another turn.

Having previously entertained the thought that conscription might deplete the mining workforce, then dismissed it as improbable....well events have proved me wrong.
Hoping AAZ can work around the absent engineers.
Replacing them may well take more than paying inflated contractor rates though.

Although i don't see any serious impact upon the long term investment case here, a drawn out conflict, or even a suspended one with no resolution, will continue to weigh on the share price
There will be an ongoing risk discount; think months and years, not days or weeks.
Question is how much and for how long?

Could be that great patience and appreciation of a high, well covered and hopefully rising dividend will serve holders well.

Lots of very interesting reading around with regard to conspiracy theories Pogue, some of them very believable. People and opinion becoming polarised just like with brexit. This won't end well. Sea of red in my portfolio yesterday, alarm bells starting to ring.

It also looks like Armenia are retreating from the news article, Azerbaijan are committed to take back their territory which should occur in a few weeks. If this can be done before winter then it should be the end of it. Let’s see.

EVG - indirectly related news - Remdesivir has no effect upon cv-19 recovery, WHO today,,, so Dexamethasone is now the only proven treatment, WHO..... come on EVG make some noise please :-) Cheers Wan :-)

also, it looks like the young & fit get mild cv-19 which lasts longer,,, sometimes much longer,,,, whereas older people get it bad, but, provided they recover get past it much faster.... all very counter-intuitive to me!!!

Morning Wan all good with me, you never know about those single double digits, I’ve refrained from commenting as I could sense many wanted lower entries. I’ve been focusing on plays elsewhere, sold some CHN as mentioned and now resisting the urge to buy back too soon; yet really want to come Monday I suspect.

Drip feed it in then - I would be surprised if it went that low, but as a holder, it would not bother me if it did (would use dividend to top up). Good luck with your investments!

The company has a history of under-promising & over-delivering, so an "estimated" reduction of 5% to 10% in production "guidance" may well come out at the lower end of that "guidance" range.

The format of the RNS has not helped the share price. Although the company has always shown comparative data against the same quarter from the previous year, it was well known that production would be lower in 2020 due to the lower grades processed in Q2.2020.

Reza's comment that production increased by 27% compared to the previous quarter is the kind of focus which would therefore have been more meaningful. That could have been backed up by emphasising the Open pit grade of 1.01 (0.91), Gadir u/g 2.87 (2.55), heap leach dry crushed ore 0.87g/t (0.79), heap leach ROM 0.5g/t (0.44); the latter two with increased tonnages. Then the similar Q3 v Q2 comparisons for the agitated leaching & flotation plants.

The numbers are all there in the RNS, but could have been framed in a better light. Having said that, the company is operating not too far away from a war zone & in another country impacted by COVID-19. It continues to be profitable & dividend paying, but hasn't been cut any slack to take account of those circumstances. That's where the PR company should be earning their corn ?

What happens to gold is irrelevant - whether this is a border scuffle or a war is what the market is concerned about.

And please, support levels / charts / TA in general are totally irrelevant at the moment.

Gold chart looks great to me ... after a brief 1 day dip back into the wedge, it's back up and breaking away from the upper rail.At some point the gold, silver & copper prices will influence the price here

Maybe there are many ready to buy for 60p but unless it turns into a global war between the two countries and the mine is directly affected I don't see that happening. There will be also many happily paying 100 or 105p absorbing nervous sellers.Time will tell. I just feel for the ordinary people on the both sides. Hopefully it will not get much worse.

While researching DDDD i came across Bifidobacterium breve (B. breve)which is a highly beneficial bacteria, in fact, it’s one of the most helpful strains out there.
Now this is being used by DDDD - "Bifidobacterium breve MRx0004 protects against airway inflammation in a severe asthma model by suppressing both neutrophil and eosinophil lung infiltration" . This information comes from the document below. The point being this bacteria is available in a gut bacteria supplement called probio7 which is believed to give some protection again flu. I assume that they are using a slightly different strain from that being trialed by DDDD for use again cv-19 lung inflammation. However, it may as it is related give some protection against cv-19 ? Just a random thought, I am taking it as it is helping with my insomnia It has also give me more energy.

fozzie, with regard to TXP, I took 50% off the table prior to this drill result, with the strategy of adding more shares should it prove to be dry and the share price fall back a lot,,,, but, also with the strategy of adding less shares at a higher price,,, but, but, but,,, at less risk,,, should the drill be successful,,, so here we are and hence why I'm ok for it to drift lower again now so I can add more shares,,,, obviously I would have been better to have held my 100% through the drill as it was successful, but,,, I'm happy with my strategy and looking to build again for the long term :-),,,,,, cheers Wan :-)

and yes, before you say it,,, sometimes I make no sense at all :-),,,, but, I hope this does make some sense :-)

each drill is a binary event,,,, although I think the COS is way better than 50% with Paul at the helm and all the previous work done back in the 50's in the area :-),,,, even so, there is always risk to be managed...

Cheers

I treat buying a share like marriage. Hate the 'in-laws' (other shareholders).
Practice polygamy.
Have a few sidepieces.
Occasionally have a painful divorce but still lose a house on it.

what you say regards the media etc I am actually beginning to listen to the extreme conspiracy theorists and their claims this was planned years ago to reset the world economy. The stupidity about this being shown by governments around the world is astounding especially in the West its almost like they are trying to bankrupt their economies and create vast unemployment.
