Yeah another lockdown. Furlough everyone. Hand out cash to all the businesses that can't open. Bankrupt the country. Soon as the country reopens the virus comes back.

Everyone seems to be a trader these days, hopping in and out of positions all the time, buying a core holding but trading a few here and there along the way. I just cannot get my head around that i am afraid. I buy a share i think is undervalued and wait for it to come good or not.

Disappointed to see TXP pull back, traders jumping out no doubt, added to PXC, ARS and AAZ this afternoon.

Looks like we are heading into a full on countrywide lockdown again from where i am sitting. Mainstream media going all out for it. Govt will get badgered into it imo. It didn't work the first time round and it won't this either.

AAZ - could well get some in the double-digits Rb,,, tricky one to time with such sketchy news coming out in regard to the conflict,,,, sure as eggs is eggs though, any positive move towards peace and AAZ share price rises fast on no volume,,, I can see it now :-) :-)

TXP - nice fall back after a great rise yesterday,,, I shall be looking for more there too,,,, will be amazing if it just drifts down and fills the GAP created by the rise :-) we shall see :-)

oh what a game :-) LOL

The chart is terrible, we have loads of people wanting to get in at 60p and lower. Why am I getting the feeling when you're selling your car and someone comes and offers you half the advertised price, looking for a stupid bargain, aaz is going through just that. Very annoying if any of you have experienced it, I mean the car example ;)

Oops. But I'm glad I stayed away on days like these. It might be some time before this turns around again, should have opportunity to buy lower than 100 if you wait.

Wars are very nasty, and often turn nastier towards the end as a losing side can turn very vindictive. eg, Why shell a cemetery, and particularly while people are there?

Pogue I had a CV test too, my son has it but very mild. Thought I was going to some form of gulag going through the security to get checked out at the Birmingham airport testing site.

“and the mine not getting damaged.”

Why would it? The mine isn’t in the conflict area, it’s miles away! It’ll be not even on their radar! If they start taking out all the oil infrastructure, hydro plants, military bases and munitions stores maybe fret a smidge but as it is back water cabbage and potato growing areas will hardly be high on their agenda!

I honestly don’t know what folk are worried about! All I can say is that you wouldn’t value a few Azeri engineers so highly if you had to employ them I bet.

Another £200k today, same as yesterday and same as tomorrow

I did read something earlier today which suggests that the internal politics in Armenia have turned into a blame game. I guess it's possible that those with a stake in the peace of the region would be happy to see the current Prime Minister kicked into touch. The same article also claimed that fuel was running out for the Armenian forces, sorry I didn't keep the link, although it probably comes from a Turkish source, hence it's bound to be as tilted as anything coming from the other side.

I'm guessing though that Putin would like to see a change in Armenia as he apparently is not happy about Armenia having made overtures to the EU, and about now perhaps Macron has realised that Armenia might not be such a prize asset to have in the EUSSR?

Pogue - All the best wishes. Take regularly vitamin D regardless. One dose a day at 25 micro-gramme (1000IU) will help. Zinc also helps strengthen the immune system. All these can be found at Tesco, Sainsbury etc.

When the war concludes one would expect a rush to get back in. Currently this is a bet on the war not lasting very long, and the mine not getting damaged.

With a chart like that I just don't get why anyone would rush to buy in quite yet.

This thread is a breath of fresh air....very interesting...

Loved Donald & Dave's second podcast....

I was thinking I'm usually a hunter...(I doubled up on DDDD at 106p)

...and sometimes a rabbit....(ITM at the moment)

....but with AAZ (how I found this thread) I was in at 110p, got the divi, and out at 120p...so I'm also an assassin.

I've been trying to figure out why and how I can flit.

In my case and in these three shares I've decided it's down to the quantity and quality of my research...

DDDD (Hunter) I've done masses of research and can see value at the current level;
ITM (Rabbit) I've done less research but see value at the current price and it's actually not going anywhere - still around my purchase price;
AAZ (Assassin) Much less research, I can see it's cheap but not confident enough in my research yet to hold.

I'd like to be a hunter all the time but I'm not - I'm sure I'm not alone in flitting between types...I wondered how others saw this...
