mad foetus, all one knows with AAZ is that they deliver what they say they will deliver, which on AiM is probably unique.

If the war can end without mishap to AAZ, then one might expect the Azeri government to be keen on economic expansion to help pay for the war, and thus perhaps be quicker to grant permits/extensions et-al? Which would provide some future facing confidence for AAZ.

Agree with that lefrene though would add that if, after a poor Q2, we do hit FY target (and I think we will), what does that suggest for 2021 production?

I presume Pravda is still the official mouth piece of Russian opinion? If so I find this item quite interesting, it suggests to me that Russia might be pushing for a change of leadership in Armenia.

As for AAZ, I'm happy for them to keep a low profile until something approaching a peaceful settlement is arranged. Steady as she goes, we are on course to meet our predicted production target, enough said.

Also taken a nibble of KMK. They have a sensor that they have been working on with the US department of defence that will allow live monitoring if airborne viruses, including covid. If that comes to pass...

On that note, Good morning all. Lets stick to Share movement talk and not get personal.
We all like the share price to keep going up, we also like to see all positive messages. The truth is people will always buy and sell, they would be doing the same even if we were trading at £5.
Peoples fealings will keep changing on wether they are buying or selling, that keeps the market going.

Now lets look forward to Q3 and hope the results are good.

Always been a holder but I say what I feel, like most people on here, I find it funny the reactions I get though, people act differently behind a keyboard and phone. Truth of the matter is, market dictates the price, everyone has their own interpretation of events and everyone is free to do what they want.

allseeingeye1 - They need to stop mutual destruction asap because if they continue, they would wish to go back where they were at the start but it'll be too late. The less they destroy, the less they will repair later, the less pain their people would feel. Of course every war is a stupidity created by politicians who never understand the pain of others.

Aljazeera News - seems to be a concerted effort by Putin to get this ceasefire to hold but not sure either side wants it,,,, AZER want Turkey involved in negotiations, Russia saying NO,,,, Russia, USA & France will be around the table with AZER & ARM only,,,,, AZER still fighting to take Hadrut by the looks of it... Cheers Wan

Looks like last night was the first without any significant incidences, international calls to keep to the ceasefire happening. Looks like both countries are listening and indeed they should, should bring more stability if holds

If you want to look for income based returns then there are lots of renewable energy funds that can do the job. I'm actually involved with one. None pays anywhere near 12%.

AAZ's yield is extraordinary, but in a sense it is also irrelevant, as the majority of yield seekers, particularly institutional ones, are risk averse and no matter how you explain it, a gold miner anywhere is always going to be seen as risky. Add in Azerbaijan and the dividend is relatively irrelevant in terms of attracting investors.

However, over time it is very significant to existing investors, especially if held in a tax shelter. Cumulatively, we will have had something like 15p in dividends over the last couple of years. For anyone who was purchasing before autumn 2018, that is likely to be a big chunk, perhaps all, of the initial purchase price.
