As there are Junk Bonds selling for yields of 3% or even less, it is obvious that
bonds selling for 12% interest must be very high risk, both in terms of yield and capital repayment default.

Took me all of 2 minutes to track down this fine example of such Energy bonds, sold to investors in the UK.

The bait:
"The bonds [sold by UKRI] had a five-year term and were to generate an interest rate of 11% per annum. Interest payments were to be paid every six months after the first year and the bonds were to be redeemed in full at the end of the five-year term"

The spiel [note the typically complex/opaque structure - sub company with 15 subsidiary companies spun off from it]:
"The majority of the £2.5 million raised was loaned to a separate company, Bio Green Energy Ltd, to pay for the construction of 15 anaerobic digestion plants in Northern Ireland. Each plant was to be held in a separate special purpose vehicle (SPV) company owned by Bio Green."

The punchline:
"However, the anaerobic digestion plants were never completed and all 15 of the SPVs have since been dissolved. Bio Green itself was placed into Administration in May 2017 and as a result, the company could not repay the capital and interest rates due on its loan from UKRI. This in-turn meant UKRI was unable to meet the loan principal and interest payments due to the bondholders.

Investigators also found that Bio Green has only paid loan interest to UKRI totalling around £15,000, while UKRI has only made interest payments to its bond holders of just over £14,000.

The court found that UKRI’s bond scheme had failed and because the company was insolvent, it was unable to meet its liabilities, including what was owed to investors."

Txp is up 8% in usa on decent volume for them (162k). Equivalent price here is in the 90s.bodes well for the long awaited chinook result

When something sounds too good to be true, it normally is. In the current world of pretty much zero or negative interest then 12% cannot be a low risk investment in anyone's book

Strong day for POLX today’s. Well worth a look, I’ve been adding the last few weeks.

Renx also worth a look as it seems to be forming a decent base for the next leg (up hopefully)

The bonds are advertised all over the internet if you look as that's where I found them.Solar energy. Look hard enough you'll find them.

bleepy, I have no idea about the Armenian underworld and how it might interweave with Russian gangs. I would guess that Russia would prefer a peaceful and trouble free southern border, and simply doesn't need yet another war that might give Turkey some leverage, and even less a situation that Iran can exploit. I rather hope behind the scenes, that Putin is laying it down hard thick and fast upon the Armenian leadership, since it's their past behaviours that has created this situation. Like everybody else I'd like to see a lasting peace established asap.

Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar has told Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu in a phone call that Armenian forces must immediately be removed from Azeri lands they occupy and halt attacks on civilians, Turkey’s ministry has said.

Azerbaijan would not wait another 30 years for a solution to the conflict and Turkey supported the Azeri offensive to “retake its occupied lands,” the defence ministry said in a statement after the call.

I did a bit of analysis on Griffin Mining's production over the weekend posted some findings on the thread there.
Increasingly Au & Ag are playing a bigger & bigger part of their business. GFM not just a Zinc mine & many years ago it was actually held up as a gold mine.
I believe market has the valuation all wrong

Excellent article, I have no doubt that the creation of the Armenian mafia leadership, local and international has been at the behest of the Russian leadership intent at annexing as much of the old USSR. I suspect that Russia will sweep Pashinyan aside for their own more obedient pawn. Russia again playing a dangerous game sacrificing both Armenian and Azerbaijani lives and livelihoods.

I found this interesting although not to do with AAZ, but it does illustrate the differences between Azeri administration and that of Armenia.

One hopes the ceasefire will take hold, and that AAZ can release news that they may be withholding so as not to draw attention to themselves?
