12/10/2020 10:33 | -> Jeansy and goldrush - I have added your choices. | odsjp
12/10/2020 10:20 | 2sporrans, You are on it there and I for one can't understand why a lot of you are still here when there is big money to be made elsewhere and that spread is enough to put any good trader off completely. All goldies but one is up today and after the recent falls my stocks are now level again and on the verge of profit whilst AAZ would still be loosing me money, yes yes it pays a nice divi, but as have said before you can get 12% on energy bonds without risk for 5 years whilst here you take a big risk, and just now that risk is not paying off. Diversification is the name of the game and invest for capital growth not divis. Since Nov, last this has gone nowhere but down, no the conflict hasn't helped but Mali has had conflict as well but the stock I hold there is in profit again now not down. Other things are holding this back, what, remains to be seen, but I have my suspicions. I have made a nice wedge since selling here, I didn't want too sell as like a lot here I believe is a well run company, but you have to follow your head and not your heart in this game or you will end up a poor man. Some on here, newbies, trash me for selling, well let them as whilst they sit on losses I am spending my profits. I was always told buy people wiser than me at the time. Never put all your eggs in one basket or you will live to regret it. I still keep watching this but under present conditions and untill me fears have been proven, one way or the other, that's how it will stay and my advice is. Spread your risk and don't let a good divi cloud your judgement. | cinoib
12/10/2020 10:08 | Oh so it turns out we might get negative rates after all. What a shocker. :rolls eyes: | jbravo2
12/10/2020 09:51 | Wan,AMC starting the move in the right direction now. Long may this continue, TEO out in December will light the fire under the shaeprice. I can see it being a multi bagger from here. ATB. | bwana4
12/10/2020 09:48 | I agree with the need to change broker but the issue with the dividend showing up in forecasts is simply a case of showing the dividend in cents per share (in the forecasts) rather than the yield percentage (which is out of date as soon as the price moves). It is a simple change but neither share price Angel nor Hardman have so far made that change. | crazycoops
12/10/2020 09:34 | I really cannot understand why we stick with SPAngel. They go on Vox podcasts but here's the thing: my podcast was at number 12 in the UK investing charts and Vox was about 30. Nobody listens to it on the PI side and they have no credibility with institutions. We've been saying this for years, time to move on | mad foetus
12/10/2020 09:30 | That’s the job of our brokers. Spangle have been incompetent in performing their role. | gutterhead
12/10/2020 09:21 | BUR really going through the gears. The US listing is next Monday and will be the main listing I believe | mad foetus
12/10/2020 09:15 | Shame we can't get information about the growing divi out to the wider investment community... | goodgrief
12/10/2020 08:46 | And a growing Div | gutterhead
12/10/2020 08:30 | that's because I have a lot of learning to do in this game DP and I like to learn from those playing it now... :-) LOL :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
12/10/2020 08:17 | Thanks wan, your notes on this thread show you are paying full attention! Much appreciated | donald pond
12/10/2020 08:13 | I thoroughly enjoyed the podcast btw :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
12/10/2020 08:10 | Aljazeera News on now DP - seems its been quiet overnight in the north, but fierce fighting in the south, AZER trying to take the town of Hadrut,, ARM FM in Moscow today meeting with Russia, France and USA,,, after the meeting last Wednesday in Geneva where the AZER FM spoke to those countries... Ganja, quiet over night, no more firing against it so far... its a right mess... also Stepanakert has been quiet overnight...... fingers crossed the ceasefire will happen this week and resolution talks commence.... Cheers Wan | wanobi
12/10/2020 08:06 | Look at the chart, Katsy. "has nothing to do with the war"... | picardy
12/10/2020 07:52 | I think it ends in peace but Azer want to press home their advantage so in the final negotiations they have a position of strength. When the starting point is that NK and the surrounding territories are unlawfully occupied, the facts on the ground will determine the starting point for the final settlement. | donald pond
12/10/2020 07:45 | Good morning, luck, health & peace to you all this morning, cheers Wan :-) Gold at 1929 Silver at 25.43 Brent at 42.42 Cheers Wan :-) AAZ - I think its clear now that AZER will not stop until it has taken back its territories.... or they are given back by ARM... Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, meanwhile, told Russia’s RBC news outlet that the warring parties were now engaged in trying to find a political settlement, but suggested there would be further fighting ahead. “We’ll go to the very end and get what rightfully belongs to us,” he said. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also said the “humanitarian ceasefire” would only last for as long as it took for the Red Cross to arrange the exchange of the dead. | wanobi
12/10/2020 07:18 | PXC for me this week please . sorry for lateness | jeanesy
11/10/2020 23:59 | Sorry for being late.....Is it PXC,CGNR or SOLG ? Please put me down for SOLG for the reasons as I said last week. BHP comes out of purdah this week. Will there be a takeover? CGP takeover offer expires on Monday.....what are CGP and Newcrest Mining going to do ?.... odsjp SOLG please. | goldrush
11/10/2020 23:24 | Guys start another thread called war or something like that, this thread should be about the gold mine which has nothing to do with the war. thank you | katsy
11/10/2020 23:10 | For sake of balance: My earlier post, written when i'd just heard about the missile attack on Ganja, omitted to mention further Azerzi shelling of Stepanakert last night. This included cluster 'bombs' which are specifically anti-personnel devices rather than high explosive/penetratio There was a whole residential block destroyed in Ganja. Enough said. Even supposing neither of these ugly transgressions of the nascent ceasefire were authorised from 'the top', that hardly bodes well for a prospect of restraint and calm. | 2sporrans
11/10/2020 22:51 | The missile armed Drones the Azerzis are using to such effect are in the main Turkish [They do also have Israeli and i think Russian ones though maybe the latter limited to spotting]. It may be they are largely made up from Israeli parts. The Turks used them a lot in Syria and from what i've read the Russians couldn't see them coming. Basically, the Turks haven't the $$$$ or depth of knowledge to design/produce their own top tier aircraft; $1 billion has proved adequate to shift them into the top 4 or 5 military drone producers though. | 2sporrans
11/10/2020 21:15 | I think they have had 30 years of false promises from the OSCE Minsk group. Actually seen a tweet today from some EU beaurcrat asking for ceasefire. Has he not read the news last days. Normally Putin would be slapping them down, however it looks different this time and Azerbaijan will not stop until they reclaim NK. I am sure the Armenians are weakening and the ground AZ has reclaimed would be the hardest as that where the Armenians have had their main defences set up. | s_murray |
