29/9/2020 17:01 | Doc Can empathise with why you're peeved and also why reluctant to add, being already well overweight. Guess there is a valid concern that a conflict related share price discount, having been priced in, may linger for a far longer time than I and other buyers this week are bargaining for. Also that the headline news may put off potential new investors for a similar duration. So, i suppose the conflict may inflict a curse, like a sort of collateral damage. My expectation is that as more and more investors come to the realisation that - unlike the Covid - the threat of this conflict impacting upon AAZ is very marginal indeed, the fundamentals will reassert themselves pretty much regardless of the background noise, however loud. | ![]() 2sporrans
29/9/2020 16:41 | This is not helping the share price much as it escalates.., hopefully it will be resolved, but with Turkey in NATO and backing Azerbaijan and Russia with a base in Armenia, it does have scope to snowball and become uglier..? On the flip-side, it does equate to some better value dividends tho'...! | laurence llewelyn binliner
29/9/2020 16:12 | It appears as if the conflict is escalating. That is not good good to hear and is not going to be good for our shareprice. Making major news now. Let us hope that pressure is put on all concerned to stop this before more deaths occur . I don't understand the mentality. Isn't there enough to worry about in the world already !! | ![]() jeanesy
29/9/2020 16:11 | So depressing seeing good stocks being driven down by factors outside of their control. Can't imagine it can go much lower than this given POG prices and expected uplift in production. | ![]() katsy
29/9/2020 15:02 | Yes Katsy, the rule of thumb is 50% overall market, 30% sector and 20% company specific. I've never conducted my own analysis but it seems to work quite well as a guide. | ![]() crazycoops
29/9/2020 14:46 | Doc_OJ somebody many years ago once told me that only 20% of the share price is affected by the company itself the rest are all external factors. | ![]() katsy
29/9/2020 14:23 | @2sp - i understand where you're coming from, shame my last two top ups could have been better timed, 150 and 134p - already have more than a house worth tied in here so really not keen on adding further; just that with the last RNS, it seemed the tide had turned although POG started to weaken, which it seems to be taking care of itself and now the situation in the country lol (obviously my woes are meaningless in comparison to what people over there are going through) i am a bit concerned the positive newsflow we were looking forward to will be lost in the background. | ![]() doc_oj
29/9/2020 14:16 | A curse or a gift Doc.? Another 2k for me. With the divi. raise, just the income stream looks attractive. | ![]() 2sporrans

29/9/2020 13:20 | In my post above I used a £ (i.e. a pound sign). When I view on a PC or laptop, it appears correct. On my mobile it shows as a question mark. Wasn't aware of that before. | ![]() conundrum
29/9/2020 12:40 | Gregpeck You seem to be spamming this across boards. You're not sorry, so you can put CCZ anywhere you like. | ![]() nk104
29/9/2020 12:21 | Sorry for off topic. Out of interest any of you chaps noticed ccz? Only just ipo?d but incredible drilling results so far and looks like they have found gold now as well ( while drilling for copper ) prospects in Australia look particularly good....Not on many radars as only just listed so thought I would put it out there... | ![]() gregpeck7
29/9/2020 12:12 | Guys Re Ordubad.... a J/V with Azergold and their acreage was what I believed would be taking place especially after last year when the Azer government hired lawyers etc. It was obvious the area needed protection especially if you were going to put a $60 million plant in....thus having Government and army backing. We know the Government want to get development going into Nakhavian desperately for obvious reasons. Now I am sure there will be more urgency to get this done. | ![]() goldrush
29/9/2020 11:44 | I think nobody will be able to manufacture the amount of test products that will fill the market to start with, millions per day will be used, eventually the best products will survive, that is my hope for AVCT but the lack of news reminds me I distrust the management at this company and no news could be bad news. | ![]() pogue
29/9/2020 11:27 | Good point. It is more problematical. | ![]() klosters65
29/9/2020 11:20 | They may need a JV with a Turkish partner to get access to the region | ![]() mad foetus
29/9/2020 11:08 | I saw Trump rolling out the Abbott test yesterday. AVCT may end up missing the boat imo | ![]() mad foetus
29/9/2020 11:08 | I hoped the skirmish would possibly give us an opportunity to negotiate slightly better terms. With regard to Ordubad, I wonder if the company would not be better off to do a JV with the Azerbaijan government. | ![]() klosters65
29/9/2020 11:05 | thanx guys,, does seem to be taking forever to get the AVCT/CYTIVA test up and running,,, all gone a bit quiet,,, hmm,,, oh what a game LOL, GLA Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
29/9/2020 10:55 | This is a Cv-19 test that someone I know has worked on. 12 min test......its been approved and they selling it. They are hiring a load of people to manufacture and distribute it. | ![]() 11_percent
29/9/2020 10:55 | NCYT a covid stock that has previously been mentioned on this board, has risen by over £1 today on news article below. Stocks with a covid connection, I hold a few ACVT and DDDD, but no NCYT. | ![]() conundrum
29/9/2020 10:51 | Yes, an annoying distraction mf. Doubt it will interfere with the negotiations over the extended CA. A bummer if it did. | ![]() 2sporrans
29/9/2020 10:44 | It is annoying that it will at least partially overshadow Bills Proactive presentation just at the moment it felt like there was lots of imminent news | ![]() mad foetus |
