It would have to be a full-scale invasion by Armenia to affect Gedabek & that is just not going to happen.
Azerbaijan is the stronger of the two nations + if you bother to look a the maps and topography between Armenia & Gedabek, you can see that Gedabek is naturally very well fortified from Armenia.
This is all about jockeying for attention before the USA election, imo & I would expect common sense to prevail in a few days time.

+ I'm quite sure that govt. of Azerbaijan will be mindful of the Gedabek / Chovdar complexes, sitting pretty close to one another

In next 3 weeks we will almost certainly get q3 figures showing a big leap in production from q2, confirmation that tunnelling has finished and perhaps some grade ideas from the dip down, confirmation of CNGR JV, new JORC and there's a chance of contract area extensions and exploration news. None of that is going to be affected by this skirmish

War is unlikely IMO and if it does happen it wont last long and it will be the Armenians who come worst off. Lets hope the Russians but this to bed quickly.

They are fighting over a disputed area, this is not a full blown invasion or coup. Armenia will not be over running Azerbaijan or the gold mine.

Cel, it would seem to be a lose lose situation all round, you'd think that building up trade and commerce would be a better way to conduct things, rather than who administers the real estate. Perhaps both governments play the game to demonstrate that they are 'looking after their peoples interests'?

One hopes that the major powers will bang heads together.

Price is recovering. Some smaller buys indicating ppl are seeing this as a buy in opportunity.

This could potentially dip below a pound. I'd rather it didn't but the way its dropped this morning looks like panic selling. I'm not selling a share! I'll be scaling in at £1 if we drop that far.
This will likely be a swift drop and just as quick a rebound.
The minute the big boys step in and help broker peace again we'll be back to £1.40 in no time.
I'd you're lucky there will be an easy 25% to be made buying under 110p.
Annoyingly though it makes the shares a little range bound for a bit longer as traders exit on the way back up...
I'll be one of them with my trading batch.

lef, it's always the same. If you follow it news is reported daily and has been for decades. The last proper spat was 2016, it soon ended with a return to blaming each other as normal. It's the people of Nagorno who are stuck in the middle who I feel sorry for.
