RE: PPC, I like torturing myself although I have reduced significantly. I expect a bounce this week back to the 1.8p level so thought it a safe bet for the competition.

Statement on Situation in Azerbaijan

Anglo Asian Mining plc ("Anglo Asian", the "Company" or the "Group"), the AIM listed gold, copper and silver producer in Azerbaijan, is closely monitoring the situation in Azerbaijan following the reports of an escalation of the on-going dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

There has been no impact on Anglo Asian's operations. Its office in Baku and operations at Gedabek continue to function as normal.

The reported hostilities are in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and have never affected the mountainous Armenian border area near the Company's mining and processing operations.

There is always someone who isn't happy with what they have, which is why the world is full of tension. $ down 1.05% at present and gold about to go possertive. Maybe, just maybe, investing closer to home would be wiser. Scotgold up 18% on good drill report and not 1 oz poured yet and now same price as AAZ .

My sub £1 post earlier is looking ridiculous now. I'm glad there is plenty of support as it is difficult to stomach losing large swings like that..

Great news flow to come with an Excellent H2 ahead. Jorc imminently. Next year we should see a target of over 80,000 ozs then 2022 another mine or 2 coming on stream...
Oh and a dividend then a special dividend and more dividends while we wait. 😊

High volume so far, many weak hands folding today. When conflict news passes over and Q3 results with average POG prices of c$1900/oz then JORC and the underground mine, I can only see this going one way. Also healthy dividend to pocket soon.

Doesn’t look like this is slowing down, now the heavy weapons are coming out, this seems it’s going to be a long drawn out process, which sucks as I have a lot invested here, hopefully can top up at £1
