The next move in Silver will be to the mid 30's ... I'm positioned for the same .. the right Silver stocks will be going up 5, 10, 20% every other day.The next 3-6 months will be awesome IMHO ODR

WJA stolen for 8p a share this morning, not the outcome I was looking for having bought much higher initially. Thanks to averaging down over the last few months I will escape unscathed but 8p, really!

well if you believe the 'Big Ones' lead the way, Newmont, Kinross & Kirkland lake all look like they have broken out of triangle consolidation patterns yesterday. Perhaps Wan can post one of them.

klosters, you should see an "edit" button for your comment.
Press it and a new window will open.
You can delete the script but you must leave something in the window and most people just put a full stop and then press "update".

Averaging down is a complex one. If you read "the art of execution" it is discussed, and the basic conclusion is that if a share price drops, the correct action is to either buy more or sell the lot. Either approach gives you a chance to make your money back. But sitting and holding tends to be the worst of both worlds. It is a good read all round.

10p maybe then. Tbh I was drawing a crude rising line to hit around 9p in maybe a month or so. I’ll go with all your arrows though Wan.

no right or wrong decisions Rb, just make or lose money overall,,, we'll make 1000's of decisions, some will work, some will not,,, whatever the rules say,,, they can only be a guide based upon historical odds,,,, what has the outcome been by doing something time and time again in the past to predict what should happen again in the future etc etc...... I should say hysterical odds LOL LOL,,,,,,,, bit like the horses Rb,,, or should I say, a lot like the horses !!! LOL,,,, Cheers Wan :-)

Well my own rules cost me a big profit in AA. but I think you have to be true to your stated (or mind driven) discipline, otherwise what’s the point making them.

must admit, rule 16 - Never average down on losing positions,,, has me in two minds as several times now and even today I have added to falling positions as to me I'm buying what I want cheaper and cheaper,,,, so far it's been working out mostly,,,, I suppose the rule comes from a traders viewpoint rather than a longer term investors view point,,,, so, hmm, interesting init :-) LOL LOL, GLA Cheers Wan :-)

It’s had a good rise likened to IPT, if silver weakens it will fall stronger as similarly seems highly correlated. Long term it looks equally good.
