Below is the starting positions for next week as it stands at the moment. I will produce a final table on Sunday evening.

--> WAN. I was thinking we should run this until 31/12 and have a a winner/runner-up for the year and then we can decide whether to continue and if so improvements etc. Any thoughts?

The way to have gone is the Swedish way.
They can lie as much as they like look at the numbers yourself.

now they are saying numbers are rising, yes because they are testing more.
But the deaths are tiny comparing them to before. But they have a reason for that, deaths will catch up, they are lagging. What a load of rubbish.

I live in spain, you go to hospital for anything you get tested.
You could have had it, been shown you are clear, a month later get knocked down by a bus and they will put it down as a covid death, because you had it a month ago.

This is all down to controlling the masses.
They don't care about you losing your job or what this will cost in the end. They will come out of it richer, we will have to pay for all this so called free money over time. And they would have got what they wanted,more control that would have taken them many many more years than what this would have taken.

Jeansey I think covid gave the board every chance to reduce expectations for the year. Because they didn't suggests you me they won't: if they do now they will look idiotic. But I agree they need to start explaining how to up production. I hope they can because the opportunities lost as a result of sticking with AAZ have been huge. And we've had 15 months now of the share price not moving. The company needs to do betterI look at AAU, POG, SHG, HUM, CEY, and all are up at least 50% (and as high as 300%) while AAZ has done nothing. As that continues bulls sell out through boredom and the price slips further. The board needs a game changing RNS and fast

Some ramblings. My only share is AAZ. My original investment has multiplied several times. I am hugely leverage and have palpitations every time the S P goes down. AAZ looking forward shines out like a star with minimum risk. Some, stalwart, AAZ shareholders are crumbling with impatience and selling In search for more action and I assume correspondingly more risk. Why do I read that we are likely to have to wait for news till first week in October or indeed January for the price to move. Surely there is enough going on that there could be a News Release any day next week?

Please keep President Energy, PPC, as my entry in your competition. There is just too much going on at the Company currently, on many fronts, for the market to carry on overlooking the Company for much longer.

I have held AAZ for many years . Clearly there are some who are deserting or selling parts of their holdings. News is way overdue on many fronts. The silence on the JV with CGNR is deafening. I still don't understand the deal at all, but the management have done their due dilgence and i wait to be proved wrong on that one. Perhaps they are having second thoughts now too ?
There are quite a few people who are expecting poor 3rd quarter production figures. Perhaps that is why they are selling ? If they are poor then the chances of hitting full year production will be very unlikely which will further damage the shareprice. Gold is still above 1900 and profits are still rolling in , but we need to know if production is still going to be increased going forward and what the next steps are going to be for this to continue for many years to come.

I like pxc, have sold my tsg at a nice profit and bought into pxc. Is in a much safer area than tsg. Feel that tsg has stalled, whereas pxc looks like taking off. It will have its dips while it gears up to a mining operation assuming good assay results.

Congratulations to goldrush with CGNR (+20%), Pantsonfire (+10.39%), and a number of you in joint 3rd with AVCT (+9.09%).  On a plus side I hold the top 2 and imagine a number of you have the top three. Not a great week for most of us, hoping for better next week...

The overall leaderboard has not changed with Bazboa, Ilostthelot and excellence.

Yes, looks like the share price could head lower next week, even with a yet higher POG.
Who can call the bottom to the nearest penny or 3 though, even for Monday 14th?
....then possibly an RNS lands, might be Tuesday; maybe the JORC report[s], though i'm not holding breath. [due in Q3 and held up for around 9 months in all now; Bill Morgan said they ought to be out end of 2019 about 11 months ago].
Failing that, the interims out; prob. the week after next.
i added yet another 2k today, 135ishp; will add more if goes lower.
Worst case, within reasonable bounds, just hold, hols, hold ....hold and take whatever the divi provides, be it 4.5%pa, 5%, 5.5%....whatever.

I sold less than 2% of my AAZ a few weeks ago to top up on PXC...should do it more often!
