Week 5 - Preliminary results.
Please note these will change slightly after the auction and closing of Canadian market. An updated (final) spreadsheet will be posted over the weekend.

The preliminary results show that the winning stock this week was DDDD which increased 35%, so congrats to Bazboa and madfoetus with Jeansy/Pogue in second place with SAGA with a 20% increase followed by Actonovator in 3rd with AAU at 13%.

It should be noted that Bazboa has taken the overall lead with over £25K, follows by Ilostthelot in 2nd with £17K and excellence in 3rd with £15K.

Interesting to note that Bazboa chose DDDD in week 1 when the price 51p and I don't think has posted much since so I have rolled him over every week and it is now £1.32. So it looks like it pays to stick and hold for the right stock.

Next week promises to be interesting if the market continues its downward trajectory.

Looks like all markets taking a dip, gold may even correct further but shouldn’t hurt our AAZ profits too much, one stable share throughout this has been 4D Pharma, maybe worth buying more as Pharmas look extremely strong regardless of broader market weakness. News expected in the next few weeks that could double the share price

And unemployed next month.

The unemployment rate dropped as well. Because a lot of people left the market - not because they were hired.

The dollars going up, when the printing presses are going so fast they might fly off the rails! Thanks bonio10000, sounds like a good enough excuse to game the market for an hour or so. So that's 300k temp workers paid with newly created money then.

Market excited that the govt hired 300k census workers.

As usual, nobody reads the detail.

Mostly why I don’t bother reading many threads anymore fozzie. Never seems to be so rife on other exchange bull boards. Advfn being subscription based will tolerate just about anyone though.

ARB appointed a new broker this week, talk of them seeking a duel listing in America, would see a complete rerate IMO

We need to be more cheerful.I'm sure the progress of the 500 meter tunnel to the higher grade ore, which the company expects to start extracting early in the 4th Quarter out ways the requirement of a little patience and minor fluctuations in the price of gold.

ALBA's Clogau is only down as £3m in this analyst's SOTP

I don't think a UK gold mine (safe jurisdiction) deserves such a piffling valuation
