That's why AAZ needs to be a lot more savvy with their financial PR to bring on board a new raft of investors. There are far too many stale bulls and yet not a single financial institution.

Katsy 35396 - I'm one of those investors who bought shares when the price was in pennies, & they will hopefully generate a nice profit when I choose to sell them. Whilst they may have only cost "a few hundred quid", the multiple increase in the share price means that they now represent around 70% of my portfolio. Wouldn't prudent investors in that position want to limit their over-exposure by top-slicing profits? Or perhaps they should all sell out at the same time & depress the share price? Or maybe they just appreciate that the cost of their original investment is less than the dividends that investment now generates.
There was an opportunity to buy these for 80p less than 6 months ago & look where the price is now, & yet still below its peak

BTW - I haven't sold any, but have bought more at prices ranging from 19p to 152p over the last 4 years

ok, i understand the frustrations & we all experience them time to time but, its just not possible to always be invested in every share that's currently going up .. much as we might all wish/dream of being able to do so.
It may, at times, seem achievable but, its virtually impossible and certainly impossible to do so with any meaningful sums of money such that post-tax & trading cost gains are worthwhile.

I do not believe there is any 'magic formula' to all this … a lot of people are constantly flitting about with £5k & £10k hoping for a quick gain … that's exactly what pays the MM wages each month.

AAZ is still very cheap on most metrics and is growing stronger every month that passes … the market cap will have to reflect this at some stage. Let's see if the next 3-4 moths of newsflow act as the necessary catalyst .. particularly (as far as i am concerned) once we go underground at Gedabek & once we further flesh-out these other new deposits.

However, we do all need to remember that we have a mining operation with over 1,000 people involved & we are in the midst of a global pandemic. Things ay well take a little longer than hoped for. The Health & Safety of all involved must some first, now more than ever.

At least 3 news updates due here in the coming 5 weeks now:

JORC Reserves & Report
Interims with H1 Dividend Guidance
Q3 Production & Ops Review
+ Presumably some sort of update on progress with Conroy & the JV in Ireland & perhaps some sort of timeline on drilling activities

Given the professional & fastidious level of details in the AAZ RNS items now, I suspect there is going to be a lot of details to digest, particularly on the JORC.

Both JV partners have made similar comments about desire and intent to get cracking with drilling in Ireland & they will not be so weather-constrained as they are in Azerbaijan.

+ we are now less than 2 months from the USA election date so, I assume the FED will keep the party going, between now and then, with next round of stimulus.

Gold chatter has noticeably subsided of late but, the price is still holding above $1,900 … I suspect we'll see Gold re-awaken at some point in Q4.

@katsy: totally agree, particularly the fact that we are pretty illiquid makes those those share price movements even more exaggerated.

PXC looking promising if they can get the funding. Well worth a listen WAN . There is still a seller about which is holding down the price imo. Could be worth much more in the future. PALM continues to disappoint since i bought in. You can't win them all i suppose.

ODX is a fun place to be today, new RNS out price drops very quickly now on the rise as people realize that it may just be they have been given a massive hint lol

Statement regarding Share Price Movement

Omega (AIM: ODX), the medical diagnostics company focused on CD4, infectious diseases and food intolerance, notes the statement made by BBI Solutions Limited earlier today regarding an order from the UK Government and successful independent evaluations in relation to the AbC-19(TM) test developed by the UK-RTC. This was released by BBI in error and contained incorrect information. The statement has been withdrawn by BBI and should be disregarded. Any future updates on potential UK Government orders or the outcome of independent evaluations will be disclosed to shareholders once these are concluded.

Just too many people on here sitting on vast profits from shares probably bought in the pennies. Every tickup is met with 5k 10k sells. These were probably was bought for just a few hundred quid. Add in range traders in to the mix and this is stuck until further good news or those sitting on vast profits have mainly sold out.

Contributed by rougepierre from the Solg board. Average life of known reserves across most of the industry is 9 years, and gold in the ground is being valued at $245 oz. So roll on those jorc updates.
