Morning Bwana, so true, I take from that people need to look around at what they have and stop complaining at what they haven’t. Material things matter not, the world is full of many beautiful things if valued in the right way.

Blimey! What has happened to all that confidence! There have been some really chunky purchases in the last few weeks. One trade, two days ago for £150,000. There is much news to come out. The share price will go up. This is no time to bail out.

what i believe most people are missing here is that .. flatline share price and handsome dividend may very well prove to be the most sensible and profitable of choices over this coming winter period. Boring does not mean not the best of choices, particularly this winter period fast appraching

Oh, and won't it be great to wait until mid-May to see the great leap forward on profitability in H2.

Another day another fall in the share price - over 10% down from a year ago would you believe given what has happened to the POG.

Opportunity or a value trap ?????????

The one thing which will put a lot of people off is the fall in production - the reserves/JORC RNS is more important than the H1 financials IMO, especially if it comes with a road map to new developments within a reasonable timescale.

(The H1 numbers will look good on a profit basis but pedestrian on a revenue basis - and no where near the increases being reported elsewhere. H2 looks very good from my numbers - but will the market according to AAZ look that far ahead? Sooooooo difficult to call this one - still hanging in there - but only just.)

All that said, we are all well aware of how 'flat' the thread is as compared to the 2015-19 period. The lack of excitement is palpable and that's what holds PI's to their shares … lack of excitement and PI's sell .. and in the background larger & longer term holders collect.
Over last 12 months, over 50% of the fully issued share capital has been printed as trades .. seems plenty long enough to me for the majority of bored sellers to have trimmed back / sold out by now

Brasso, I'll try and keep it as simple as possible. Falling volume trend as we settle back towards the 140 Maginot Line. Volume unlikely to be Zero for last week in September so, i'd suggest there is a 'Volume event' of some description coming along in the next 2-3 weeks max.

54 weeks now bobbing above and below the 140 Maginot Line.
Yet all the time the company is steadily growing financially stronger.
It's only 25% of FCF going out in divis (most welcomed by us all).

Let's get the JORC out please AAZ and then let's get going into Gedbek underground .. I want to hear about some new underground loaders and haulers being purchased.
The satellite photos show a helluva lot of prep work had already been completed as of last year. Let's have some new drone photos please to show the workings and new underground entrance via the backwall

Cinoib, Always entertaining to hear from you. You say in the old days your year end profit was around 100%. Why did you give up?

Klosters65, In the old days when I traded regular losses was 1 in 3 which was a good average as at he year end my profit was around 100%. As for conroy, well not a chance that and the stupid spread was the main reason I sold out here as was in that many moons ago only to loose and be taken in by management and the Irish way of business. Too this day I don't know what possessed AAZ to join them would have been a better bet with Scotgold as they are about to start production, Nov, first pour from what I've read. Am sure when production starts the share price will drop and then I will be in, but over priced just now 32 years teaches you to be more patient.
Should see some nice action in the morning as gold has recovered $26 from low.

Traders must have had a field day with these Covid stocks. Sell the spikes and buy the dips the way to go. They have all behaved in exactly the same way. Just waiting to get into DDDD again after selling at 1.33 what a game it is.
