Canadian stocks done very well, Roxg within a whisker of highs, Wallbridge proving a good move, Impact regaining mojo but glad took a bit of profit still, Mag steady and flipped out of NMD to add more to ELY as my preferred royalty streamer. Cursing didn’t go for GCM thought it was due a rise but kept reminding myself how Sprott wound me up there; although I believe they’re sneaking out the back door of late.

Well Jeanesy it is because I picked that share. Don't you sell any until it goes well over £3. It can also just continue to go up even after £3. NAI and Please DYOR etc.
It sure has overtaken AAZ for sure !!

Cinoib, I'm on holiday for a few more days so I have more time to chat than usual. You say you've had 30 years experience of trading and I am new and need to learn. You commented the following on the JV between AAZ and Conroy Gold. "To this day I don't know what possessed AAZ to join them". It strikes me as a very clever deal. AAZ for nominal investment, drill, check-out the potential value of the Conroy Gold properties and if they like what they see own 55% and control the JV going forward. Don't get your knickers in a twist about the Irish. Just as the Azerbaijan's are happy to benefit from our expertise - so will the Irish.

Agreed Mat and have added some more myself but the price isn't galloping, so frustrating.

I now hold 280k shares with an average price of about 45p (some bought at 4p a long time ago).

Have decided to sell 30% of them if/when we hit the £2.10 area - worked out that would basically clear the mortgage. Will then hold the rest for future raises/dividends.

I expect we will go higher in time but could never forgive myself if something out of the ordinary happened that took it all away (war, Covid, cave in whatever). Been too long and time to convert it from paper to something that will benefit our lives. Wife bored of me telling her it is coming....

Guys .. Gold is at over $1,900, ffsake.

Seems like not long ago we were all excited at $1,300 POG!

This price is stunning result for us in terms of cashflow …. sometimes you need to just forget we are a mining company and just look at is if we were manufacturing widgets .. & suddenly we can sell those widgets for 30% premium to that which we had expected to do so for the year.

In any normal business, the share price would be galloping ahead on this sort of pricing premium on sales.

Wan I’ll only say it once but any disappointment on production numbers for AAZ and I’d fully expect at least a 10p smackdown until reality of their cash position is understood. Reality, sense and markets is not something that equates right now.

On the plus side other Canuck miners are performing and I’m grabbing a little bit of Oz stock back at levels off their highs; whilst actual physical trading has proved very beneficial the last few months.

Well, i just added 2k more Polaris

138.5p may not be the bottom of the current malaise but i don't think it will be far off. Was sub 130p in early-mid July after the Q2 production RNS which was a -ve for most, at least amongst the 'marginal' holders.

10 weeks out of 13 done for Q3 and a POG for sales average in excess of $1900/oz is looking highly probable.
When the interims come out - 2 weeks or less time - the abundant net cashflow this is generating, even if AISC has risen to $700, will afford at least another 0.5c onto the divi.
The feed replacing the dwindled Ugur supply is going to come from high grade stockpile; that looks like a given to me.
Ok, it's the result of the development of the West/Main-pit end of the underground mine that will hold the key to Q4 and Q1 production, taking a 6 month view.
Sub 140p surely discounts for a fair bit of disappointment therof and seems to me to presume AAZ will fall short of their 2020 target production of dore.

Even if that happens, as long as the twin underground mines can support a 2021 gold production target of 70k [say 60k dore, 10k in the concerntrate], with POG around these levels, that's going to support a scenario of cash cow reward well above anything achieved thus far.
I don't see that abundance reflected in a 140p or even 160p share price

Good news on the JORC and new mine prospects is all on top afaic.

Gold is probably up because the dollar index is down. It's just low level noise for gold at the moment. Nov/Dec will be interesting as the December futures come into focus (most of the August futures went there) and it will be interesting to see what price holders will want rather than taking physical delivery. August had the most futures contracts ever I believe and December could be higher. I stand to be corrected if anyone has been studying this more closely than I have.

Gold pops back to $1950 because the DOW goes up? I suppose the mistake is looking for sense in what has been happening lately.

PIs get bored and move to the next hot thing. Just pick up the shares at these lovey prices and tuck them away. The hot brigade will be back when there is a sharp move, but will be buying at much higher prices. Gold, silver and copper prices are all above the 2020 guidance. What's not to like for the long termer?
