Apologies for being a bit out of order but please make allowances for this time of night. I love the story – the Scottish Estate got traded in for the Portuguese Orchard which folklore would have it has just got dumped for AAZ shares.

Think that doesn't apply this year, more people working from home, less holidays being taken, more people spending more time gambling, sorry investing in the markets.

everywhere I look right now Brasso seems scary,,, this is going to be one hell of a winter to get through in so many ways,,, gold & gold miners surely has to be the place to be,,, but, I get the feeling there may just be one big market crash coming which will affect everything prior to the big rises we expect to see in them,,, but then, what do I know,,, all gut feeling,,, I have an amount which is ring-fenced and labelled,,,'only to be used in the event of a major market crash' just in case,,, I may regret not investing it now,,, but,,, I really cannot afford to have everything on the line right now,,, I'd seriously struggle to sleep :-) with so, so much global uncertainty around,,,, I suppose that's what separates the 'men from the boys',,, boys like me LOL,,, but there you go, that's my approach fwiw LOL LOL,,, GLA Cheers Wan :-)

The Dog days of Summer.

The Ancient Greeks seem to have inspired the term, associated with movements of the Dog Star Sirius, the brightest star in the sky as seen from Earth; Sirius being part of the constellation Canis [like Canine] Major.
When Sirius rises in tandem with the Sun, the Dog days commence....the Ancient Greeks and Romans associated this astrological episode with lethargy, fever, bad luck and even war and catastrophe.

Think that taking the current UK perspective of these heavenly bodies, the Dog Days may already be behind us, concluded by mid August.
If that cheers anyone up a tad.

I agree, this share is so undervalued.
There are no problems.
I just see massive buys being ignored, by the MM's as if they have not taken place.
This being AIM i wonder if we will ever get the facts of what has been going on.

Anyway, back under my rock i go, happy and contented in my opinion.

it's a market & its purpose is to allow the buying and selling of the equity so, unsurprisingly, that is what goes on here every day.
There are plenty of people who did buy shares several years ago here and they will be sitting on some big gains .. probably more than they have ever had before because 30 baggers are just not that common.
Whilst a dividend is mana to some investors it is not what other investors seek from their investment.

All we are seeing is an extended period of consolidation. Stale winners are selling out & new (arguably deeper pocketed & larger) investors are buying in with an intention to take the share price on to the next higher level.

It's all good healthy stuff and whilst it may be a frustration to those long term investors willing it on higher every day, we simply need to be patient and let it play out. It's nothing to do with the fundamentals of the company - which are very strong & growing stronger .. hence we have these new buyers.

At some point, usually when least expected and when you're not watching, it comes to an end - the selling dries up and ends and then the price will begin to creep higher.

It took 3 years for Bashirov to get out .. though that was a huge position and there was no bid for the stock really for 2 of those 3 years but, it did not stop the inevitable occurring in 2016.

Just remember that the longer we drift sideways in this consolidation period (and all the time the company grows stronger) the bigger and more powerful & more durable the resultant upward move will eventually be.

It's the dog days of August so, just don't have too strong an expectation for that to occur right now. things will heat up as we progress through September & October, imo

Often the case that 'a watched kettle never boils' …. August rarely a month when much boiling occurs :-)
Probably better to enjoy the last of the summer weather right now
