18/8/2020 19:17 | Just be careful seen situations like this escalate? Fozzie Managed to pick some HUM up at 32-33.5 following skirmishes in Mali, another gift I hope. Was 43 intraday a week or so ago, madness. BAMAKO, Mali -- Malian soldiers took up arms in the garrison town of Kati on Tuesday and began arresting senior military officers in an apparent mutiny that comes after more than two months of political demonstrations calling for the president's resignation. It was not immediately clear who was behind the latest unrest to wrack Mali, but the developments already had prompted government workers in the nearby capital of Bamako to evacuate as soldiers began detaining officials. "Arrests are being made of officials. It’s total confusion,” said an officer at Mali's Ministry of Internal Security, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not allowed to speak to journalists. It was not immediately known where embattled President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita was when the chaos erupted Tuesday. Witnesses said armored tanks and military vehicles could be seen on the streets of Kati, located only 15 kilometers (less than 10 miles) from the capital. The French Embassy in Bamako tweeted that residents of Kati and Bamako should stay indoors amid the latest developments. Why hasn't Resolute Miming been hit? 60% of their 2nd qtr output was from their mine in Mali. | avsome1968

18/8/2020 14:01 | Copper getting close to the pivotal $3/lb mark too, albeit a slower rise than gold - could be great for AAZ long-term with the mix of minerals resource and processing we have - some tasty copper grades at Ugur deep could extend the mining there profitably short-term and I then I think Ordubad has some ginormous copper targets? | king suarez
18/8/2020 13:48 | please can someone tell me the Dollar Index ADVFN ticker that's currently at 92.31 please,,, thanx,,, I ought to be tracking it I feel LOL LOL :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi

18/8/2020 13:31 | I wouldn't be able to sleep if I held shares in EVE.. | king suarez
18/8/2020 13:26 | Well, the business (AA) is worth something - it generated EBITDA around £350m for 2020 and free cash flow before interest expense of £228m. It is really the annual interest (£128m) expense of the debt (£2.6bn) that is dragging the share price down to these levels. Without the debt, annual free cash flow of £228m in a fairly stable sector like this would have to be worth several billion. I understand an offer has been mooted for around £3bn? Someone with bigger pockets could benefit by buying the business, re-negotiating the debt on better terms, and getting a decent yield on their investment. Perhaps why some may think a higher offer might come to the table - it is all a bit subjective. | king suarez
18/8/2020 13:24 | Cinoib I guess you will not be comparing AAZ to HUM today! | brasso3
18/8/2020 13:15 | Yes, new EVE CEO seems to be a good choice. Also, EVE was decimated by the fallout from the Woodford fiasco (Woodford held 45% of the stock) that holding was distributed to three fund managers who have all since sold out. So overhang cleared and shares free to rise. Combined with cash of £9m vs mkt cap of £11m makes it a compelling buy imo | someuwin
18/8/2020 13:04 | go SuW :-) amazing :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi |
