05/2/2018 16:06 | Egg bacon and bubble Being the owner of a suspicious mind I suspect it maybe in order to sicken folk off enough to make them decide to sell up. There’s must be an end game for whoever is buying the shares of bored holders though!!! | ![]() eddie_yates

05/2/2018 13:57 | Malcy's view. Amerisur Resources Monthly production, OBA throughput data and an operational update from AMER all pretty much in line with expectations. Average daily production was 6,837 b/d with a peak of 7,142 b/d subject to works being incurred at Platanillo. The OBA throughput averaged 5,622 b/d with a peak of 6,541 b/d, this was affected by planned maintenance and enhancement work at the Cuyabeno station which is now completed. At CPO-5, Mariposa-1 continues to produce at 3,250 b/d on long term test as analysed by AMER and ONGC Videsh. | moneylender

05/2/2018 13:36 | @blackdown2 #6644 ~ my comment about earnings specifically related to the wider market not oil companies.. as you seem to have missed that I'm tempted to be sarcastic and suggest a remedial course of action but I'm too nice. Also as I don't often post I'm hardly a serial anything :) | rollthedice
05/2/2018 13:26 | Eddie Funny that, as that is what has crossed my mind for a while | ![]() foiledagain
05/2/2018 11:30 | Surely with all the investment in storage tanks, small outages for maintenance can be smoothed out by draining the tanks during the down time? For a bit of a distraction whilst this stock builds back sentiment, might be worth taking a look at US Oil&Gas. Difficult to buy in quantity due to only being tradeable via your broker dealing with assetmatch.com. Announcement of two spud dates is due shortly. DYOR since it is riskier than most stocks, but looks to have potential. | ![]() sharesure4
05/2/2018 10:56 | Maybe they are missing the 7000bopd target on purpose!!! | ![]() eddie_yates
05/2/2018 10:53 | It sounds like production from CPO is going to be less this month. | ![]() dodge city
05/2/2018 10:50 | This share lacks the feel good factor if management had said we expect 6000/6500 at the end of the year instead of 7000 fgf would have kicked in with better than expected results but because management have gone for the higher figure it looks like once again they have failed to meet their target better to aim low and better your target than aim high and fall short imo. | ![]() bryet
05/2/2018 10:11 | With small oilers it seems it's the future prospect factor that gives the greatest impetus to a share price, mostly long before the drill bit enters the ground. So many share price values seem to fall back significantly once production commences, with the reality often not matching the previous hype. | davwall
05/2/2018 09:59 | If ever there is a share which comprehensively debunks the perfect market hypothesis which implies that the price at any given time reflects all available information this is it. The share price was so much higher in May last year after the results reflected output at 4k, a $15m Paraguay write off, unproven CP05 data, low oil prices and low OBA throughput along with a $23mm loss! As far as I can see there has been nothing but good news since then and we are down about 30%. There is a case study on market manipulation here if anyone fancies it. | lucyp00p
05/2/2018 09:27 | Re post 6642, oilexcos are not valued purely on earnings. If you don’t realise that you probably need to do some research. As a serial moaner, rtd would be better off plying his/her trade elsewhere. | ![]() blackdown2
05/2/2018 08:41 | Rollthedice, look through the monthly production updates from spring, summer and autumn 2017. Standing still? We have consolidated around the 7,000 level, which is good, plan for year end 2018 is 12,000, so would be good to see how they plan to get there. | ![]() acv74
05/2/2018 08:26 | Month after month it just feels like AMER are treading water (at best) not steadily building towards their higher targets... even a 100-200 extra barrels each month would put a whole different dynamic to share. Hardly surprising that some are choosing to bail :( Doesn't help that market is correcting after the unsustainable rise not justified by underlying earnings growth. | rollthedice
05/2/2018 08:17 | dec news woz · Mariposa-1 LTT production has increased from a controlled rate of 1,487 bopd to a controlled rate of approximately 3,100 bopd. feb news is 3250 bopd it increase by 150 bopd they goin gentles innit but they gotta open it up soon and do robust test or wot the point it doin fine and dandy at 3100 for last 8 week that brill innit | ![]() fsawatcher

05/2/2018 08:09 | Seems a shame that even at peak production (presumably when maintenance was complete) Platanillo was some way off the 2017 exit target of 7,000 bopd. I wonder when we’ll see that number again. | ![]() davwal

05/2/2018 07:59 | Don't ask me about the market Big7ime! I know nothing and just expect the worse here even when the market is bouyant! Perhaps some reverse physcology will work? Hoping it will anyway. Who knows people may switch from chasing those companies whose share prices are flying to more "value plays" now. So this may be the turning point ;-) | ![]() lauders
