7000, 6700, 6500 makes no odds, they are coining it in at the current oil price and 16 wells to drill this year

The company only just met their end of year 7000 target, so I am expecting something a bit less for January (unless they have pulled out the stops on Mariposa). My guess is around 6700. There will be a gradual increase in production with increases one month followed by pull backs the next but hopefully an upward trend.

Roll on end of month figures only thing that can stop this downward spiral. Like I said before anything less than 7000 and we are in trouble just hope the market likes the results good luck to all who hold.

Hopefully by the end of this year the share price won’t be at these levels

Forget "year" Underhill2! Replace with quarter please ;-) One can live in hope!

Big7ime, the strong break of 22 would have signalled the reason for share price decline had ended. There wasn't a strong break therefore the trend has continued, which allows for a lower entry point on a share which seems undervalued. I consider entry points against obvious technical support. By no way do I consider myself to be a chartist but to me a break off 22 would have given a clear buy signal.ATB with your trading strategy.

Don't worry !. I got used to it a while back. It was around 2 years ago. The fundamentals are much better now but the share price does not appear to agree !. Hopefully by the end of this year the share price won't be at these levels

The Board could follow the example of Empyrean when they think about awarding themselves any more options ie a 40% premium to current share price it might encourage more investors to have faith in their commitment and possibly their ability. This company is taking far too long to get going again after the oil price doldrums period. Geography, politics and management seem to be the concerns. Take your pick.

Im back in again with a much small investment. I did not think I would be able to but in at under 20p. The fundamentals look so good here but Im struggling to see why the share price is so low.

It did break 22 briefly
Seems odd to say you'd have bought if it was over 22 but now reluctant at under 19
Considering fundamentals
Such short term chart analysis (which is what you are trying) is rarely successful

Me, prefer to set a tgt price and stick to it
Sometimes the timing is out but generally more successful in the long run

kaos, I am not invested here but would have added if it had broke 22. Will still likely add as hopefully around 18 seems a good entry point. I would have thought the downtrend has to be broken soon given the poo recovery and the fundamentals here.

Ah, sorry, yes misunderstood. I don't know what qualifies as realised profits for an oil company and Google isn't really helpful, other than to say it's complicated and not necessarily clear from published accounts. So yes, your caveat stands, although profit is opinion as they say and I'm no accountant but I'd have thought that if you pay dividend out of free cash flow that by definition would be realised profit. I wouldn't want them to start paying an uncovered dividend straight off the bat, I was just saying that if they needed to adjust debt/equity at a later date, then that might be an option.

Should there be a sale/buy-out of our CPO interest, as that would be a sale of a capital asset could not a 'distribution' (partial or total) of the proceeds be declared as a Capital Repayment to shareholders?

That would bring the payment into CGT instead of Dividend Income which may suit more than just non-residents. ;-)

But that would, of course, have to suit the 'city boys' on the BoD.

Okay, the share price rises a little from the support then drops into the stop cluster, but what is the actual process of manipulation that instigates the drop? Is it literally a case of MMs falsely winding the share price back?
