"AFC's world-class technical team continues to execute its technology roll-out programme. The recent announcements of successful HAZOP study completion and subsequent in-house Beta system commissioning represent two significant milestones. With core fuel-cell design down to just 3 principal components using exclusively low-cost materials and processes, an exciting cost curve is mapped out. We believe AFC's technology could be central to the future of low carbon energy generation. DCF valuation of potential waste hydrogen and gasified coal revenues gives a NPV of £2.20. We rate AFC a Speculative BUY".

It's so nice to hear concise well thought out research into AFC, backed up with copious amounts of documented evidence. I don't think your teacher will be to pleased spending your computer session on these BB's.

The company stated RNS below:

"AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), a leading developer of alkaline fuel cells, is pleased to inform investors that it has completed the commissioning of two commercial-scale fuel cell systems (the "Beta System") without electrodes at AkzoNobel's chlor-alkali plant in Bitterfeld, Germany."

What surprised me is that they are using both the Beta systems on one sight, I would have thought that Linc would be keen to get there hands on a Beta Fuel cell, unless they are not ready to test it fully.

JakNife, yes i've read your post on TMF and no one can deny that AFC has missed many of their own targets over the years and talked themselves up.

But surely now they are testing (allbeit 6 months behind their most recent schedule) and Linc have taken a place on the Board not to mention a large stake in the company, coupled with lots of interest from other potential partners surely you have to at least consider that this isn't a scam.

With regards to the value of the company you present an argument which doesn't consider goodwill, IP and potential, clearly the market does and thats why it values it at more than the NAV.

Anyway clearly i won't wish you well with your short but thanks for been up front with your reasoning.
