26/5/2006 17:45 | lundhousgreen I have had some MCKS since Ian recommended them at less than £2.00. They have grown very nicely. Kelda had a little fillip at the end of the day. I hope it holds up. Solicitor still trying to get more from the holiday company for what happened after the accident. My wife only gets her tooth replacement finished next month. They let the area of the titanium implant heal fully before they let you chew on it again. She still has a plate in her mouth until the new tooth goes in. We were shocked to find that the Personal Injury part of our holiday Insurance does not cover the £2.5K cost of the private dental work. The small print excludes this as the treatment was not carried out in Spain - where the accident occurred. We have to claim from the Insurance Company of the Spanish lady driver who died with her daughter in the accident. Her vehicle crossed the road and struck the front of our coach. What a world. Have a good holiday weekend. z | zeppo
25/5/2006 19:19 | Was watching Kelda also, the team like their management, but I decided to add MCKS on the dip on Tues. Happy to keep YNGA, HDYS, and Brakspear in this sector. Interesting Summer on the shares front, I think. I know the boys are quite pleased that the quality stocks that they recommend don't take a battering that some stocks do in these turbulent markets. Good investing, Zeppo. Hope all OK after Christmas accident. Regards. LHG | lundhousegreen
25/5/2006 11:19 | lundhousegreen Regretfully I came out of this last July. I hope you have done very well. Bought a few KEL this morning. The boys have been mentioning it after BWG went under offer. KEL was 783p when I put it into my watch list - some six or seven weeks ago. I got in at 736p this morning so I am happy enough with the switch from BWG which was ,of course, being bought out at a premium. Still suffering with SEO and MVK but happy elsewhere. z | zeppo

16/2/2006 15:09 | This extract from today's Daily Express... Boom for cigarette free bars Smoking bans abroad have seen business booming in bars and clubs. In Ireland, bar sales increased in the first three months after anti-smoking legislation was introduced in March 2004, reversing a 4 year decline. | lundhousegreen
28/12/2005 19:05 | Article from today's Daily Mail..... Young's mulls brewing exit. South London brewer Young's may end a 174 year tradition of brewing its own beers and outsource production to a rival. Young's, whose ales include Waggledance and Winter Warmer, is preparing to sell its historic Ram Brewery in Wandsworth to property developers for up to £100 million. Wembley stadium buyer Multiplex is tipped as a buyer. Young's boss Stephen Goodyear is considering whether it makes sense to build another brewery close by, or exit brewing altogether and use a third party. Outsourcing is catching on . Wolverhampton and Dudley breweries has a contract to make Bass Ale on behalf of its Belgian owner, InBev. | lundhousegreen
24/11/2005 19:15 | Not often, I'm afraid. I have to see how things pan out as to whether or not I attend meetings. Managed to get to Torotrak in July, but that's my first AGM for a year or so. Have recently been buying more JHD "cheap" through Ian & Martin. BWG looking good today , DVW also. Broker's taking the excess slack there, not many shares available now ! Hope the book's going well. Good investing. LHG | lundhousegreen
23/11/2005 22:02 | lundhousegreen Well done on Youngs! I hope to attend Halstead's meeting on 2nd December. Derek Calrow should be there but many of the rest of the office are tied up. Do you get to these meetings? z | zeppo
