13/1/2005 12:19 | Hi lundy Off topic Yes I have a few enn. Pleasing rise yesterday, minor adjustment so far today. Looking good. Am am awaiting a boost for tnl if/when they make a positive statement about debt reduction, on selling one of their sites for housing. I regret getting into it (spring 04) from looking at Lowland Investment Trust's high yeilding engineering investments. The divi was suspended last year after I got into it. Lowlamd backed their rights issue last summer and appear to remain loyal. Analysts suggest that the divi should be resumed this year. At the Lowland AGM in December the fund manager talked enthusiastically about PFD ( expected to resume a divi this year), Carclo and SNR. I am in these now in a small way. After TNL perhaps I should stop punting on stocks from Lowland's list. Lowland itself though has been my far and away best Trust over eight years and has ,so far retained the same fund manager. ____________________ The young & co rise is brilliant z | zeppo
13/1/2005 08:22 | Both YNGA/N up Thursday. MM's looking to attract sellers due to lack of stock availability. LHG | lundhousegreen
12/1/2005 19:13 | Zeppo....Off topic. If you have ENN, spotted this report...."On the M&A speculation side, Ennstone climbed 3¼p to 40¾p, or nearly 10%, after the £1.8bn Holcim bid for Aggregate Industries triggered interest in the smaller minnow aggregates group." ESH looking a tad firmer today. LHG | lundhousegreen
12/1/2005 14:38 | Hi lundy I bought the non-voting at a fraction under £7 after buying costs added. With divis - not a bad performance. z | zeppo
11/1/2005 19:44 | Hia Zeppo. Well, we appear to have a very similar portfolio, and yet another share we both own!! I bought the YNGA shares about 12 months ago, and they are up 50% in that period. I expect that these can continue to rise, as there are few shares available in the market. IMO Young's shares are pretty good, and I won't be selling these either. (Like ESH, JHD, PZC, etc.) A friend of mine tried one of Young's restaurants in Oxford when he was on hols., and gave them a great review. Have you tried the Waggledance honey beer? Quite nice to celebrate the share price rises ! If anyone wants to check out Young's website, it's ..... | lundhousegreen
