In addition to PEDL299, we have not been idle with regards to our commitment to add other high impact, low-cost assets to our portfolio. We are actively assessing a number of additional attractive assets in the UK, North Africa and South-East Asia.

We look forward to updating shareholders as opportunities develop.

Saffy, total agree! The directors have a lot of there hard earned here! This is off the radar at mo as soon as we get more exposure, with limeted free float this is gona boom imo, licence news around corner according to RNS, UJO recently got awarded there's !!

I've increased my stake here.. I think the share price is telling and with quite a bit of skin in the game.. the directors will certainly try and make this work..

Hardsoft...could double share price . but with other potential projects this for me is an interesting punt.. albeit.. medium term..

I'm keeping a close watch on this but have a few questions

When UPL get the rubber stamp for Hardstoft, when are they hoping to drill it?
at its peak it produced 24bpd? what enhancement techniques will they use and what bpd are they expecting?

Say they drill and target and enhance the production zones how much would 200bpd equate to for UPL?

Per Justin Waite - prior to today's news:

"Total Hardstoft resource net to Upland, based on Blackwatch’s CPR, is estimated at 1.125 MMbbl. Blackwatch estimates the chance of success for the contingent resource at 80% and 64% for the prospective resource. The Company estimates its interest in Hardstoft alone to be worth about 2.2p/share on a risked basis."

A 50% uplift on that gives 3.3p for Hardstoft. And that is without the cash in the bank.

Europa's acquisition of Shale in August - - looked as though it would leave Upland as the junior partner, but this is a fine piece of news.

Puts their stake up by 50% at no cost other than pro-rata well/seismic costs.

They had over £1.3m and still enough to cover the 1st well.

Seismic was $83.35k - now $125k.
Well preparations $16.67k - now $25k.
Appraisal well $750k - now $1.125m.
Further development well $750k - now $1.125k.
Total previously $1.6m - now $2.4m.

The valuation previously was 1.24p - 2.3p on $50-$70/b oil - but will now become 1.86p - 3.45p. This was based on just 0.8 mmbls net 2C (now 1.2 mmbls net) to UPL.

The net 3C potential to UPL rises from 7.42 mmbls to 11.13 mmbls.

So over 9 times further potential in the 3c case.

jaba, it's been following an upward trend since the start of the year, interrupted recently by a flutter, but looks to be resuming. I'm optimistic that there's plenty in the pipeline here.
