Even more reason for this to do well when it is the wife. A director previously associated with the Sarawak government. Bearing in mind his cv below, I can't see him and the other director and Chairman from the same region holding so much stock to be interested solely in small onshore UK oilfields. We know the company is seeking a 3rd asset internationally and has been for some while.

"Bolhassan, an elected member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly from 1987 to 2011, has many years of political and commercial experience within the region. Bolhassan has held positions as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Assistant Minister in the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Department and subsequently Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Communication.

Bolhassan began his career in 1979 at Sarawak Shell Bhd. (a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc) where he gained project planning, design, construction, commissioning and start-up experience in offshore projects. These included the F6A project in Sarawak waters (the largest offshore gas project in the region), the E11 and F23 gas production projects in Sarawak waters and also projects such as the St Joseph and South Furious offshore oil production platforms in Sabah waters.

Bolhassan has had significant oil and gas experience with Shell in South Korea, Singapore, the North Sea and the Netherlands."

So the 2.5M was a Valentine's Day gift from a NED to his wife? Awww

I think the recent drop was overdone and yesterday saw it quickly readjust to the placing price at which Directors recently bought in quite a few. Having said that the 2.5M buy must be confident!

I can see this motor very quickly if the right deal is done.

so if the address those couple of points it will be ratified presumably.

Still think my conservative view of 5p- 6p by Dec will come to pass

planning committee full summary...

extract..

That planning permission be refused for the following reason:

Insufficient information has been submitted in support of the planning application to allay the concerns of the local planning authority with regard to ground contamination from both water run-off and the infiltration of water used in the development into water courses. The proposal would therefore have an unacceptable impact on local residents, the community and the local economy. The proposed development is therefore considered to be contrary to saved policies M23, DS13 and DS15 of the North Lincolnshire Local Plan (2003) and policy CS18 of the North Lincolnshire Core Strategy (2011).

This one requires patience but I believe will ultimately deliver IMHO. But I am a buyer/holder so what else would I say?

5-6p would be nice, let's see what the BOD can bring to the table, I'm hoping their amount of skin in the game indicates they have something a little more exciting than what we have at present...!

Agreed. I'm invested in here and comfortable.

I'm expecting minimum 5-6p on a conservative basis by year end.

Wressle update released today. But for me it's not about Wressle or Hardstoft or a n other small U.K. play. In my experience a BOD does not put the kind of money these guys have put in for assets like these, however worthy and short term accretive they may be. The Malaysian and Moroccan connections these guys have are where I strongly suspect the real meat on the bones will be shown to be. The Petronas connection may or may not be significant but I think we could see shortly the game plan proper, and with cash in the bank, no debt, it's a low risk entry point here...

Is the share price being manipulated to fill some big (well big for me...1M, 750k etc.) orders to be filled? ?Would mm's really do that or am I being too cynical??

Tyler you're right of course, the directors are heavyweight investors here. Always an encouraging sign.

My comment was only based on the step down in the share price following the disappointing news of 11 January. For the last 12 months the share price has been in a broad upward pipe, which will fizzle downwards if good news doesn't come soon. That kind of trend reversal can become self-fulfilling as the market reacts to its own behaviour.

I hold a million here at slightly below the Directors' December price of 1.30p :)

Yogaboy, directors piled in substantive cash in December at 1.30p and I expect they want to see the price move northwards too.I have a relatively small holding of 50000 so can wait for movement. Will invest more if and when there is momentum in the share price. For that to happen, we need development on the Malaysian or Moroccan fronts. All IMHO as usual.

We could do with a bit of good news to prevent the share price from drifting below that beautiful 12-month trend line.

this is one that could be 10p at end of year...the strategy they have off buying producing assets and also going for big exploration assets...means this will come good with patience...they have put millions of their own money on line and have already built and sold a company...plus started as oil dropped...this with 3 year timeframe could be a mid cap.
