Snickerdog. That is one amazing write up by Justin Waite. I didn't realise Sarawak region was the bees knees. Those that were potentially intimating a 10 bagger may actually need to revise their calculations considerably after they read that article. This could be a completely new ball game.

I'll second that.

Just wondering that with one deal having been announced with a UK listed oil/gas company only a month ago, could further deals be on the cards ?

Take a look at the Malaysian deal Eme is doing with a private Malaysian company for a 20% farm-in to a discovered gas field via 3 existing wells and a 2C recoverable of 433 bcf (4 TCF upside and 120 mmbls). Farm-in cost $4m and near term June drill of 4th well to test flow rates. There is an enormous demand for gas, high prices and many discovered fields not developed.

Ministerial visit, Directors wife a recent sizeable buyer, Directors holding 38%.

This is probably the key bit as to why UPL could be interested in Malaysia or the immediate region.

"The permit also benefits from its proximity to key energy markets in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia (including both Batam Island and Sumatra), where there is a favourable domestic gas outlook. According to international oil and gas advisory firm RISC Advisory power generation is forecast to be the biggest source of gas demand and account for 35 per cent. of the 35,000 MW power acceleration programme to be built in 2014-2019.

Indonesia's demand for gas is forecast to grow strongly over the next decade, despite being the seventh largest producer of LNG in the world and the 28th in terms of oil production. This is due to a relatively low electrification rate which, as recently as 2013, stood at 81 per cent. This means that 60 million people in the country did not have access to electricity. Such low rates of electrification and frequent power outages are widely believed to have held back the country's economic growth in the past. In response, the Government of Indonesia has set itself the target to add 35,000MW of new electricity capacity by 2019, a 60 per cent. increase in total domestic power generation."

TylerThis is the O&G market, where a 10 bagger would only equate to a 40M Market cap.....I'm sure most would view that in an O&G capacity is extremely small.I think this hasn't even set of yet, this increase on Friday last will not even register on the bigger longer term chart with a six twelve month view.

And here was me thinking of getting out of these recently..phew!I would not say it is a 'rocket' at the moment so still time to get onboard I suppose. My initial target was 5p by end of 2017 so if we make progress towards that sooner, I will be a happy bunny.I have heard silly figures like 15p within weeks but a 10-bagger from here will require some amazing asset to make that happen.

"Wonder if the 88E investors know about the connection with Steve Staley?"

I have been watching this , and a bit miffed to have missed what seemed to have been the `launch` on Friday !
I`m not very keen to chase rockets , so I`ll have to wait and see what happens now .
Good luck to you Guys who were onboard for lift off .

as I mentioned before the Uk assets according to the broker NPV values these around 3p NPV - so it's the stage 2 overseas assets that will move these

Like the Bod owning 38% of these so 145m

Hoing any future placings to fund futurec capex osts will be bought into again by the BoD

That late recorded 1m buy was mine. Whether that bodes well for next week, we will have to see. I have beeen following this share from the start but the story has reached a compelling point. Insider buying, excellent connections, the tweet showing the latest high level meetings, the strategy laid out on vox markets and the fact that the game is a lot bigger than the Uk assets. The Wressle update didn't move the needle but the tweet did. This is a no brainer.

interesting...looks to me like UPL will be breaking new ground next week.

Add to that the planning application and potential overseas acquisition...then 5p looks a very achievable target
