11/10/2016 09:55 | An interesting addition to the SOLG: BHP story in the FT is that both BHP & RIO are on the look out for greenfield and juniors, in particular in the copper sector. Given exploration budgets would have previously been cut, it is a positive sign for the cycle that the majors will be upping their game on exploration and looking to increase the reserve base. M&A is the way to get a jump start. This offer may not have suited the board or shareholders but 1. It is a vote of confidence in the project 2.
