It's fun playing make believe, but if there is a resource worth $95 billion and it costs 90% of it to extract leaving a profit of $9.5 billion over say 20 years, that's $475 million a year, on a pe of 10, that's a value of $4.75 billion or £3.65 billion, divided by 1.25 billion shares comes to £2.92p! a share. OK just fantasy, but it's a bit of fun to calculate it.

But we also have 1.25 billion shares in issue! It's all a matter of how rich and big the find really is, less the onerous costs of extracting, shipping and refining it. But then with 2% cu eqiv that's 4.4lbs at say $2.15 a lb say $9.50c a ton times 10 billion! $95 billion is a nice place to start from when working out the costs of extraction etc. All pie in the sky of course, more drilling and feasibility studies yet to come. But currently at under £200 million mkt cap, there surely has to be quite a gap there to be filled?

Comment: 1} So from the said RNS of today, it appears that there is STILL provision for a SUPERIOR PROPOSAL that is built into the said RNS of today, Mon 26 Sep 2016 to 13 Oct 2016 [General Meeting]?? One has to also make provision in dates for actual last dates a/c to company law etc.

2)"Receipt of Superior Investment Proposal" Solg RNS was dated 22 Sep 2016 at 12p which supercedes previous subscription proposal of 30 Aug 2016 at 6p and a bit over [in the region depending on exchange rates].

As always, please check as there can be typo errors etc and please do due diligence & DYOR. Just a discussion.

P.S "Notice of General Meeting"-SOLG RNS, Fri, 16 Sep 2016:"Additionally,Newcrest has agreed for a 3 year period in the event of a T A K E O V E R bid by way of a tender offer to shareholders for the company [Offer] to accept that Offer, where it is supported by the Independent Expert appointed by the Solgold Board and holders of at least 60% of the shares in the Company have accepted the Offer." In today*s said RNS, the wording has changed to "Change of Capital Control Transaction."

That would seem to be it price wise for the time being, until news connected to the new drilling which is set to start quite soon. Listing on the TSX might see an uplift though?
