smoothtrader, me too, I have been expecting a vicious shake out at some point, but perhaps this time the company really does have the wind behind it? They seem to be making the transition from the proverbial bunch of liars stood next to a hole in the ground, to actually being able to prove an accessible resource that's worth many $ billions. One hopes that there will be a queue of global miners wanting to grab it, once the scale and richness of the site is in the bag. In the meantime buy the dips.

Will do lefrene!

..and I hope you can/will join me!

Yes, jlondon, thanks. Mr Irwin states in that interview that " One thing that helps us a lot (in achieving high returns), too, is our hold periods are quite long, usually three to five years and sometimes longer." And Greg Chamandy too looks for investments at early stage for multi-times returns. I think both are known to Maxit and Guyana Gold interests. 30-40p by end of year wont be a surprise considering strategic stakes built by those in the know.

If the share price continues to see strength...they'll have up the offer. Otherwise...it would be foolish to accept at 12p.There is another twist in this episode Only my opinion.

LefThe share price is currently very healthy considering we have moved so high in such a short time.I was expecting this to be dropped like a bombshell once the good news was out.

Re RNS, now there's a couple of blokes unconcerned about the daily moves of the share price.

The story for me is unchanged thus I have added today; consolidation is good. Solg is a buy & long term hold given this has the characteristics of a rare tier one copper porphyry system. The geophysics, team and recent developments give me the confidence to add into any consolidation. This does not feel like a stock to job or trade.

"Why I*m buying into Solgold*s spectacular ascent."- Master Investors, 23 hrs ago.

Highlights: "TSX-intense interest from North American investors. For them, a rising content of gold at Cascabel [about half the resource by value] will be the icing on the cake. But no one could tell whether it was Newcrest protecting its position or superior investment proposal-perhaps from another mining industry player...we can surmise that one of Maxit*s clients who were approached to support a further funding at the doubled share price was buying before hand-in order words on inside information. Solgold is rapidly drawing in more and more interest. It is "in play" in an industry which, although copper is at a 10 year low, is looking to fill the gap in copper supply looming in 5-10 years time-just when Cascabel could be coming into production-more investors believe has nowhere to go but up."

Those clever MM's!, mark it up in the morning, sell a load of stock, pull the rug and rattle the stock back out to hand over to those who bought first thing.

Bound to be a bit of consolidation having come so far so quickly. Going to be a few weeks before those drills get working to prove up the hoped for shallow deposits.

This is the dilema. But what a pleasant one. To sell or hold on. Sold some years ago only to see price fall back. Too scared to sell. Think I have to be brave and hang on. It looks like things are finally coming together and we are about to be rewarded for our faith.
