08/3/2016 14:49 | Lot of volume today. If that camp gets erected in Barrow, once finished with you have a ready made 'emergency' facility that could be swiftly moved to any other location. Horrible though the thought is, there is likely to be a demand for temporary housing of illegal migrants in various places, either funded by GB gov or Euroland. Bound to be good margins if a government agency is the payer. So the type of thing likely to get erected at Barrow will likely have a second life once the principle use is over. | lefrene
08/3/2016 09:58 | From the Officers report in front of the council today As Members will be aware the Successor programme is now starting to gather momentum with groundworks being prepared on the Central Yard and both the Borough and County Councils in discussions regarding the discharge of conditions associated with recent planning decisions. Previous estimates suggest that the programme, at its height may employ almost 1000 contractors, and there has been a recent upsurge in the number of applications such as conversions of public houses to create HMOs and flats, as well as new hotels such as the floors above Wetherspoons, and upgrades to existing ones. Snoozebox have identified that there is a requirement for a large amount of budget accommodation aimed at servicing the construction sector, which does not exist in the local market. The supporting statement refers to the development offering the provision of “key worker” accommodation, and is intended to be a temporary development, after which the buildings would be cleared and the site would be reinstated. This has been prompted by the expected arrival of nearly 1000 contract workers for the main construction phases of the Successor programme, and a limited supply of suitable hotel and rental accommodation available for block booking within easy commute of BAe. There is a part that restricts construction between Sept and March in his report Interesting read for all holders and starts at around page 46 | riddlerone
06/3/2016 00:48 | OK, thanks. | gnnmartin
05/3/2016 23:38 | "The officer's report set to go before the meeting on Tuesday, which recommends approval, said: "Snoozebox have identified that there is a requirement for a large amount of budget accommodation aimed at servicing the construction sector". May get the results from the minutes of the meeting of the council next week | riddlerone
05/3/2016 19:01 | Why next week? We don't have a date for the preliminary results, do we? | gnnmartin
04/3/2016 18:18 | Interesting read cervin1.Thats a fair old size if it gets planning permission and they decide to proceed.Guess we should know next week. | riddlerone
28/2/2016 00:43 | 3Dimensional. Beware of this poster; he is a serial ramper of "dodgy" shares. He obviously has an agenda. Look at his past postings. The shares he ramps only go one way; DOWN! | papillon
28/2/2016 00:36 | hybrasil 11 Feb'16 - 14:39 - 1802 of 1814 1 0 This company has raised £45.8 million since May of 2012. Its now worth £10m. Thats some achievement >>>>> Now worth £7.75m. Where's the bottom? Will it go bust? I have no idea, but I wouldn't bet against it! | papillon
15/2/2016 13:03 | I agree BK. Is Bill182 still around. I remember he argued well for this company and although I liked the idea I didn't find the investment case compelling. How on earth did they ever get investors to invest in their placings? 100 million Ordinary Shares conditionally placed firm with institutional and other investors to raise £10 million ("Firm Placing"). · Up to 10 million additional Ordinary Shares to be offered to Discretionary PCBs and other Qualified Investors to raise up to £1 million ("Additional Placing"). · Free warrant to subscribe for one Ordinary Share for every one Ordinary Share subscribed pursuant to the Firm Placing and the Additional Placing at the Placing Price. · Placing price of 10 pence per share represents a discount of 13 per cent. to the closing mid-market price on 15 April 2014 (being the latest practicable date prior to the date of this Announcement). Not to mention the lease finance. So I will. Snoozebox Holdings plc (AIM: ZZZ), the leading provider of portable hotel accommodation and services, today announces that it has agreed terms for lease finance of up to £15.6m with SQN Asset Finance Income Fund Limited, the only diversified asset financing fund listed in the United Kingdom. The Company anticipates drawing down approximately £10m of this facility in the next quarter. The remaining finance should be available over the next 12 months, subject to operating and performance criteria. In wonder if the performance criteria was ever met? | mach100
15/2/2016 12:47 | Market cap is now below net tangible assets, but I'm not an investor because at these prices, someone or a group knows something that I'm missing. Shares never get to such good "value" by chance. | boonkoh
12/2/2016 09:47 | lefrene- life as we know it isnt going to stop | hybrasil
12/2/2016 08:54 | The company evidently don't think the share price destruction is worth commenting on. I wonder if the banking meltdown is going to mean far fewer expensive jollies, and thus the expensive ZZZ cabins will have fewer customers? | lefrene
12/2/2016 08:48 | Had a little flutter at 2.6p | hybrasil
11/2/2016 16:25 | Disaster or a knock down sale due to market melt down!! hmm decisions decisions | steptoe57
11/2/2016 16:15 | This is amazing, they will need to make a statement, as this suggests that something bad has leaked. | lefrene
11/2/2016 16:14 | Well you could pick up the shares at half the price the directors paid at the last placing, which PI's were excluded from ? Hmmm Am I tempted!! | steptoe57
11/2/2016 15:49 | The valuations of seed capital start-ups on crowdfunding sites such as crowdcube.co.uk are pretty eye-watering as well, so it looks as though generally there has been a bit of a bubble, not just on AIM. | orange1
11/2/2016 15:27 | I think what has happened on AIM is that companies that would previously have proven their business model by having a few years of profit and then floating, are now just floating. So there are actually lots of startups effectively. So the risk/reward is more like providing seed capital. Except the shares are not provided at a seed sort of price. But its all been dressed up in investor shows, special presentations and 'big' stories, reaching a much wider investor audience than pure startups reach. ie. a much wider group of mugs to buy shares and I include myself in that group. | yump
11/2/2016 14:42 | About par for the course with AiM then. | lefrene
11/2/2016 14:39 | This company has raised £45.8 million since May of 2012. Its now worth £10m. Thats some achievment | hybrasil
11/2/2016 13:56 | I guess mine were amongst the last bought by whoever was mopping them up? So who has them and what are their intentions? I would guess it's the high end of ZZZ's operations that might attract a corporate with a luxury brand. | lefrene
11/2/2016 13:54 | All possible. My gut feel however is that its RNS leakage and the news isn't good | angus17
11/2/2016 13:50 | Actually for many months last year when the price was stubbornly stuck in the 9-10p range one could sell in large quantities. Those shares were clearly not staying with the market makers whereas now they are. Hence, the price drop because the markert makers do not want them and have nobody to offload them to. | orange1 |
