Snoozebox Holdings plc

Workforce accommodation contract win

The Board of Snoozebox Holdings plc ("Snoozebox" or the "Company") (AIM: ZZZ), a leading provider of rapidly deployed quality serviced accommodation, is pleased to announce the following workforce accommodation contract win.

Snoozebox has secured a Semi-Permanent contract to provide 80 V1 rooms configured as workforce accommodation in a remote area of the UK for an initial period of 12 months. We expect to start deploying the rooms during September and for them to be revenue earning in the fourth quarter of 2017. The customer is a major international company.

This contract is expected to make an approximate 25% contribution towards central overheads (excluding depreciation) starting in 2017 and weighted towards 2018. Deployment and subsequent removal costs are being met by the customer.

Chris Errington, Chairman of Snoozebox, commented:

"I am delighted to announce this workforce accommodation win. We will be providing 80 high quality en-suite rooms configured as temporary accommodation in a remote area of the UK that will serve as a base for the customer's workforce. The hotel will be deployed within a short two-week period demonstrating just how rapidly we can respond to demands for such accommodation."

As I suspected, there is no money in event renting, the only real business is in the long term basic accommodation sites. No doubt phone calls are being made to refugee agencies to see if they are interested in some 'nice' boxes. Most likely contracts for that refugee spend will already have gone to the 'right' people, but those people will be looking for cheap stock.

The financier has to decide if they want the pain to drag on and give ZZZ another chance, or whether to write the thing off as fast as possible and leave it in the rear view mirror. ZZZ not only fooled investors, they must also have done a good job selling themselves to the finance house.

A financier is stuck owning an awful lot of boxes, and it seems that ZZZ have been paying an unsustainable 'rent' on them. Plainly a finance house has no use for hundreds of boxes, so they either have to strike a workable deal with ZZZ or sell them to another party. H'mmmm I wonder who might pop out of the woodwork to buy them, after all it looks like quite a few could have a home in Barrow. Could our late beancounter have a master plan?

My sympathies to those conned by this lot, I only got out by chance rather than seeing through the chicanery.
