As I suspected, there is no money in event renting, the only real business is in the long term basic accommodation sites. No doubt phone calls are being made to refugee agencies to see if they are interested in some 'nice' boxes. Most likely contracts for that refugee spend will already have gone to the 'right' people, but those people will be looking for cheap stock.

The financier has to decide if they want the pain to drag on and give ZZZ another chance, or whether to write the thing off as fast as possible and leave it in the rear view mirror. ZZZ not only fooled investors, they must also have done a good job selling themselves to the finance house.

Smith I was just saying I think the board did really well for themselves and other seniors over the year. Its very skillful what they have done imo. Obviously equity holders have been used to wipe the floor and wont be happy, but thats another story.

Smithie6, I suspect these boards are populated by hirelings who's job it is to encourage persons to gamble on stock, in order to shift as much as possible into the cash till before it all ends in the bin.

...good post imho..

Lease house with cabins....phps make sense to buy bank debt ...for 50 quid...own zzz
..then put the cabins in to Barrow to get a return
& forget all event rentals unless pay a profit after set up/tear down costs

Or hire out to Greece or Turkey

----

The business phps has some value but imho it looks 80% likely that shareholders will see 0. Debt holders etc may get the bits/assets.

A financier is stuck owning an awful lot of boxes, and it seems that ZZZ have been paying an unsustainable 'rent' on them. Plainly a finance house has no use for hundreds of boxes, so they either have to strike a workable deal with ZZZ or sell them to another party. H'mmmm I wonder who might pop out of the woodwork to buy them, after all it looks like quite a few could have a home in Barrow. Could our late beancounter have a master plan?

My sympathies to those conned by this lot, I only got out by chance rather than seeing through the chicanery.

Got a rec on this today, the guy who told me is a winner, peeps need to read.

The Board believes that the Group has sufficient working capital in the short term to complete its review of the business and commence the execution of a revised strategy focussed on securing new customers for the Semi-Permanent room stock. There can be no certainty that plans to secure new customers on suitable commercial terms will be successful nor that negotiations with the Group's primary lender will be successful and, as a result, the Group may be unable to continue as a going concern.

from 6p to 0.45p....got to be money in this, it is not dead, longs may not see their money back but at this level 1p will be the norm soon GLA!!!

(Small punt from 3p to 2p....had thought the cash raised ,higher than cap value , & cabins owned gave some defence....no)

Smithie 6 emphasises my point. As a shareholder (and an investor in over 50 other companies)I feel insufficient information was given as to the lease situation.

I am going to write to the LSE making a formal complaint against the nomad.

Interesting conclusion to events. I said the business was clearly unsustainable having slept in a box at the eden project and then taken a closer look.

Since then they installed a new management team who appear to have spotted further potential by raising more equity capital than I would ever have imagined possible, increasing the banking loan and invoice discounting facilities by multiples and selling and then leasing back everything they possibly could and have and will produce.

I would have to say they were certainly wiley, experienced and professional in the execution of the business opportunity that afforded to them. You have to admire them for that.

Cant see any life here!

The recent placing seems to have been based on totally false information. The revelation of the leases and further funding requirement in 2016, plus the funding required for the hotel - is this a bad fairy tale?

As always, nobody to be held accountable as now a review with more costs has been instigated to blame someone, or merely to cover up all the lies.

Guess all the regulators are out playing golf!!

Somebody has made a killing somewhere. Why leaseback all the containers and expose yourself , when business is establishing itself?

My sincere condolences to mugs who were lured into this one!

And i see MIDAS once recommended it as a tip with potential.
